Vacation rentals near Caberfae Peaks Ski & Golf

My mother in law, sister in law and myself stayed a few days to just unwind and relax. It's been 25/30 years since my mother in law has gotten away!. We had a fabulous time!!

We love the Chalet! It is cozy, clean and has everything that you would need. Tammy is great. We booked last minute. She had everything ready for us even while traveling herself. The location is perfect, just off the highway tucked in the woods. We would definitely stay again.

Everything about the house and property was excellent! It was immaculately clean, stocked with everything we needed and more! We enjoying using the dock for our fishing boat, the small kayaks, awesome deck furniture and umbrellas, gas grill, stocked kitchen, plenty of seating and ample bedding. Truly a gem of a rental! Owner is very responsive to any questions. House is very secluded. Quite, lots of wild life, trails and only about 15 minutes for anything you may want or need! This was the perfect get away for my family including 3 children under 5 years of age. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Michigan!

. Each year our family stays at a rental home where we can gather and spend time together. This was a perfect location. The home was clean and neat with a well equipped kitchen. The host was quick to respond to any request. We enjoyed fishing, the use of the kayaks as well as the row boat. Two comments for other renters: First the grill is a charcoal grill and requires preparing a fire (a starter can would be useful). If you are used to a gas grill this a bit different. The other item: using a walker or wheel chair confines a person to the first floor and deck. Access to the second floor or the bottom floor is not really possible and access to the lake is difficult at best. Our time was spent cooking, eating, napping, enjoying each other’s company, sitting by the beach and kayaking. It was a perfect location for our activities and we would recommend it highly. We have rented many VRBO properties and this one is near the top of the list.

Let me start by saying I don’t want to give a good review because then it’ll always be booked!!! Just kidding!! This place is absolutely perfect. The host is very quick to respond and easy to communicate with about anything. I’d give it a 10 if I could. The property is beautiful, peaceful and love the trails right there. The cabin itself is better than advertised. The owners go above and beyond. They have spices, toiletries and even a crockpot and muffin tin!! Who does that! It was wonderful and I definitely recommend and will try to go back but I’m sure he’ll always be booked now that I let the little secret out. Enjoy!!

We chose this area for skiing, but the weather did not cooperate. We enjoyed going to Manistee for movies, restaurants and bowling. Property was beautiful and comfortable, very well stocked kitchen! We had one issue with hot water, and the owner had the hot water tank replaced within about 4 hours, very impressed with the responsiveness. Would definitely come back, hopefully for more snow next time! HA!

Perfect location for our fishing trip this fall. Clean and comfortable. The only improvement I could suggest would be allowing the thermostat to be set lower than 70 degrees.
