  • Beautiful cabin, great location for trail riding.

"Had a wonderful time. Very secluded and quiet. Husband wants to know when we can go back. We would definitely recommend."

  • Perfect Family Vacation Home

"Plenty of space! Plenty of view-both upper and lower decks! Campfire area was perfect. Plenty of kitchen and dining! Clean, updated, and relaxing! Plenty of bed and bathrooms! Master bed/bath was exceptional! We had 11 family members ranging in ages 15 months through 67 yrs.... everyone was happy. We stayed on-site the whole time because Crow's Nest had everything we needed! Our property manager arranged a pontoon boat for us for the week! This truly added to the vacation fun. We will be back!"

  • Business/Family Trip

"I am giving this property 5 stars, because it is more than a "Rustic Cabin" in my opinion. It is an older house, but it really felt homey to me and my family. The house does have new furniture thru out. The lake is quiet and peaceful. My family spent a lot of time fishing and boating around the lake. It was a business trip for me and I was on the road a lot and my family felt very safe in this community. There is a delicious Amish bakery about 20 minutes away in Mio . The property is close enough to Mackinac and Traverse City for day trips."

  • Perfect Long Weekend!

"My husband and I decided at the last minute to try to book a place for the Martin Luther King weekend. We had no snow in our area, and wanted to go north to find snow to cross country ski. Thursday night I went onto VRBO and requested availability of this home, and if there was snow. Immediately Anne responded that yes 6 inches of snow had fallen a few days earlier, and her place was available to rent. but she needed to know if I was going to book so they could go up there on Friday to prepare for our visit. We really appreciated Murray and Anne dropping everything to prepare for our stay. They even left huge muffins for us and hand made peanut butter treats for our Aussie Doodle. The home was beautiful, and well kept. It was very cold outside at night, but we cuddled by the fire and watched the football playoff games. Loved waking in the mornings to view the beautiful sunrise over the water right from the king sized bed, then sitting in the great room drinking coffee and admiring the view. Found a cross country path a few miles away and we had a beautiful sunny day to enjoy the outdoors with our pup. We definitely would come back, next time hoping our family/friends would join us!"
