  • Amazing! Simply put.

"What was initially supposed to be a couples weekend turned into a guys weekend, and the house was perfect! The lake is amazing, and we had a blast going out on the boats and checking out the scenery, then coming back to one of the several patios that was perfect for our many games of cornhole. After dark, the fire pit gave us an excuse to look at the amazing amount of stars (and eat some s'mores). The house itself is huge and allows all the privacy you'll need, but still has all the amenities to cook a great dinner, watch TV, and play euchre (or whatever games you may like). Thanks Cheryl! We've decided to make this an annual thing and couldn't imagine a better place to do it!"

  • Home away from home!

"This cabin was way better than we could have imagined! Clean...even the nooks and corners were perfectly clean. It had everything we needed and more. The kitchen had every pan, dish, and small appliance you could need. The wifi and tv were of top quality. Comfy...beds, living area, even the front enclosed porch was enjoyed. We felt totally safe in the very nice neighborhood, and enjoyed our morning walks along the waterfront, even though it rained almost the entire weekend. And the owner was very quick to respond to our every need, making us feel very welcomed in his home. Thank you bill, for such an enjoyable place to stay!"

  • Nice cottage

"My family enjoyed our stay at the cottage and Higgins lake. Cottage is rustic, but clean, fully furnished, and location is great. The beach area is shallow and nice for kids; fire pit and free wood was awesome; large lot across the street. Plenty of things to do around the area...hiking, fishing, golfing, canoeing and tubing along the Au Sable , boat rentals,...or just read a book on the dock. Some nice restaurants in Roscommon village. There is a "small" street between the cottage and the lake...but it's just a typical subdivision street...not busy, with people walking their dogs and driving their golf carts...there is very light car traffic...it was not a problem for us. Would consider staying there again!"

  • Family Vaca 2016

"This is a great place for families withteenaged children and pets. This rustic cottage has all the conveniences of home. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of room. Our family loved the privacy of the lake and enjoyed sitting out on the lawn near the water where we swam, jet skied and watched the sun set and rise. Jackie and Randy were very accommodating and we hope we can do it again next year."
