  • Clean, quite, not completely isolated yet close to nature. Can definitely grab some mental peace.

"The property is very clean and quite. Small lake right in the backyard is the cherry on the cake. Enjoyed the stay. Also, the owner is friendly, polite and helpful !!"

  • Amazing Home and Amazing Owners

"I rented this property for a snowmobile to trip in January 2017 for 8 people and the house was perfect. The living room and fireplace was a great gathering place and the kitchen was large enough to accomodate everyone. The heated garage was also an extra bonus which kept our snowmobiles thawed for the next morning. I also have to add that beds were very very comfortable, not some cheap matresses you would find in a typical rental. The owners were great to work with and Kurt ensured we had all the information we needed before the trip, and everything while we were there."

  • Nice homebase to come back to

"Michelle was a great host. Although there was a hiccup in our booking, she solved the problem very fast and to our satisfaction. The property itself is a newer structure with a mix of rustic and new interior. The loft area of the home was really nice especially if mom and dad want a little separation time from the kids. We felt at home almost immediately and the home is stocked with the necessities you need. Since we arrived during a major heatwave , we were a little concerned about how the heat would affect us while sleeping since there is no air conditioning(at least that we noticed), but it was not a problem at all. Plenty of ceiling fans. While there we visited Mackinac Island, 1 hour away. Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City, about 1-11/2 hours away. We ate dinners at several of the local restaurants and all were good. My son and I visited the county park about 1/2 mile away for a early evening swim. We did not make it to the State park on the other side of the lake, but it looked nice. It was a nice stay and I would come back."
