  • The best TIME of our lives

"First off, this review is a little late, we stayed a couple years ago and were just talking about renting it again! We had a large family stay over a long weekend! About 14 people :) our whole family had a BLAST! We took some nature hikes! The table for our whole family for dinners and we had a blast cooking! We played tons of games and had fires, we enjoyed the whole weekend and talk about it all the time. We refer to it as "Cabin in the woods" what a wonderful stay what a wonderful place. And the most exciting experience was when we were driving out to it on those crazy back roads a bald eagle swooped down and flew parerell with our car, we were all awe struck! We knew then it was going to be an amazing weekend!"

  • Everything you will need for a great vacation!!

"Great house with lots of room. Very clean and well stocked to provide everything you will need from furnishings to kitchen/cooking items. We had eight adults and one child, and had more than enough room. The owners were great to work with!! Beautiful view of Mullett Lake. We also rented the pontoon boat, and it was great! We had a very windy week so we missed some boating days, but discovered that if we took the pontoon across the lake it was more calm and we could still enjoy the water. We would recommend this home to everyone, and if we return to Mullett Lake in the future, this will be where we stay!"

  • Peaceful Getaway

"My family and I were able to enjoy a peaceful week at the cabin on Lake Esau. Being slightly off the grid and the beautiful setting allowed us to completely unwind and lose the tensions of life. If you are looking for a clear and quiet lake this is the place to be. If you ever get bored of being on the water you can head to the club house to play pool or fuse ball or if it is raining you can swim in the indoor pool. Access to private beaches on Lake Huron is a plus as well. We enjoyed our time at the cottage and John was very helpful and great to work with."

  • Great Cottage with stunning views.

"We really enjoyed ourselves at this log cottage on Long Lake. We came up with our Aunt celebrating her 90th birthday and she found it idyllic. Very accessible with all rooms on one floor. The pictures online don't do it justice-much nicer. Everything was clean and enough dishes and supplies in kitchen. We used the kayaks and the row boat even though the weather was cool. Stopped and viewed the Elk a couple of times-that was fun. Very relaxing, thanks so much Cathy and Art."
