  • Simply Great

"Great location, and very comfortable stay. Jennifer left us a welcoming gift of salsa, and was very attentive to our questions about the lodge and things to do in the area. 10/10 would stay again."

  • Weekend stay

"We stayed Aug 2015 and had such a great experience in this condo, we contacted the owner and booked again for June 2016. We were very happy with the ease of communication with the owner, as well as cleanliness, and amenities of the condo. I was on crutches one visit and the condo was still easy to access."

  • Great getaway for family of fou

"Myself, wife, and two sons (age 3 and 6) enjoyed four days and three nights at the LRBH this past June. The place was nicely decorated and very clean. The LRBH was not very large but more than met our needs. We spent each morning climbing and exploring the dunes. We enjoyed downtown Leland and Glen Arbor during the days. We swam in the lake and enjoyed s'mores by the fire each night. We would recommend Cedar Sol Hydroponic Farm for their taco stand one day, the Village Cheese Shanty in Leland for a deliscious sandwich and the Hop Lot in Suttons Bay for a good bite to eat and a beer. For those with children: the property doesn't have much space between the front door and M22 (maybe three car lengths or so) and the lake is immediately off the back deck of the house. The owner states this in the description and reiterated that to me before I booked. I appreciated her genuine compassion for my family's well being. The proximity of the road and lake were NOT an issue for my family. Great location: located almost directly between Glen Arbor and Leland. For runners: I ran a nice 5.5 mile run around the lake one afternoon. Busy on M22 but not at all on littler traverse lake rd."

  • Beautiful Fall color weekend and awesome location!

"This is a beautiful cottage on Bass lake just outside of Traverse City. The location is phenomenal. Grocery stores and shopping nearby, yet a relaxing middle of the woods lakefront feeling is everywhere here. The cottage is very nicely decorated and very Comfortable. Nicely situated far off the road and very close to the actual water. Gas fireplace was great for the chilly fall evenings. Saw three deer in the road the first evenng. Large kitchen, utensils, clean and comfortable. We will be booking next summer! Great owner, super responsive and detail oriented!"
