  • Wonderful Week!

"We stayed in this lovely, cozy cabin for a week in August. It was myself, my husband, 25 year old son and 9 year old daughter. We had the time of our lives. Perfect location to take a different day trip somewhere each day. We went to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, Manistee, Frankfort, and drove down beautiful M-22. Swan at different beaches, water was so clean and warm. It was so nice each day to come home to such a nice, clean, comfortable cabin and chill and watch the Olympics each night. This cabin has so much room, everyone had their own space. We also enjoyed the restaurants and amenities at Crystal Mountain. We bought the day pass and used and abused it. LOL We swam, hiked, climbed the rock wall, did the obstacle course up high and the alpine slide about 20 times. Great restaurants and conveniences, all within walking distance. My son also golfed and said it was great. Also loved having the washer and dryer to clean up the beach towels each day. Have to admit, we ate out a lot so didn't take advantage of the well stocked kitchen, but did use the coffee pot and toaster each morning. The owner, Dush, is so easy to communicate with, and made booking our vacation so easy. He always responded very quickly to any of my questions. If you want a perfect place to relax, this cabin is it! Can't wait to go back in the winter and ski here. We are hooked Dush!!"

  • Nice Peaceful Getaway

"Recently stayed here over the fourth of July weekend and it was very relaxing. Cabin was clean and the location is close to a winery as well as drive in movie theatre. Sleeping Bear sand dunes was a 20 minute drive. The river is peaceful and offers great fishing."

  • Willow Cottage - A Northern Oasis

"We just spent a week in the most amazing Willow Cottage. The cottage itself was impeccable and cute beyond words. You couldn't get any closer to the clear water of Silver Lake if you tried. Marian and Tom were amazing hosts and available to answer any questions. They've truly built themselves a little oasis up north. We cannot thank you enough for the most memorable family vacation! We hope to be back next summer, if not sooner!!!"

  • A Very cozy place! Perfect getaway place with gorgeous scenary!

"Our experience was great. My wife and I rented this place for a few days for our honeymoon. It was perfect! It is on a beautiful smaller lake, towards one side so very private. The cottage comes well stocked with any amenities you may need! The detailed list is exactly what we found. Paul and Jean were great to work with, very responsive and helpful as needed. They are able to suggest things to do, places to see or nice spots to grab a bite to eat. The place is not very big to hang out inside but who needs to when you have kayaks, boats, and a nice lake to swim in, not to mention a sitting deck and a fire pit for at night. The cottage is very close to stores and shops in Traverse city without the busyness of all the tourists. It is not a far drive to sleeping bear dunes or many of the wineries on mission or Leelanau peninsula. All in all the cottage was a great place to stay, has beautiful sunsets across the lake and we highly recommend renting from Paul and Jean."
