  • Great condo, convenient, comfortable

"Tom & Michelle's condo was perfect - it was comfortable, convenient, and clean. The walk to the lift was easy - my 10 year old was easily able to carry her skis to the base of the Buck lift. The furniture was all comfortable and in good shape. The beds were comfortable, including the pillows (not that common in rental condos). My boys loved (and devoured) the snack basket and the kitchen was stocked with condiments (sugar, butter, creamer, ketchup, mustard). We were only there for 2 nights, but easily could have stayed for a week. Tom and Michelle were great to work with and flexible with check in and check out times. I'd definitely stay here again!"

  • Terrific house, gorgeous view, and perfect location!

"We spent a week at this wonderful place! The location is terrific - beautiful view and loved having private access to Bass Lake for kayaking, swimming, and the water trampoline. The location was also close enough to other areas to sightsee - Traverse City, Sutton Bay, Sleeping Bear Dunes, etc. The house was clean, well stocked, and spacious - plenty of room for everyone. We loved grilling and enjoying s'mores around the fire pit, along with the many options in the game room! Kurt, the property manager, checked in to see if we needed anything and was available for questions. Great guy. Highly recommend for everyone! And would return again."

  • Lovely and peaceful timber frame home and surroundings!

"Hughthir's timber frame home and the surrounding property was beautiful and relaxing. My only complaint is that the cabin is so popular, we were only able to stay for two nights. I could have stayed forever. Hughthir was friendly and very informative. There is no doubt we will be back and for a longer stay the next time. Hughthir, thank you for the wonderful stay and visit!!"

  • I couldn't have asked for anything more !

"The property gave me a perfect cabin feel with a great view of Spider Lake . It was fully equipped for everything . It was convenient to be close to Traverse City for food shopping , movie rental and seeing the sites . Although there wasn't cable programming we had some local channels with ABC, NBC and CBS and I was able to watch the Ohio State vs Penn State game which was upsetting . I brought equipment for fishing and was able to use the rowing boat to fish the lake . I had two great fish dinners ! You can't get a better taste than fresh fish . And that is why I love to fish . And I love to fish in clear clean waters like Spider Lake . The property sits up on a hill so if you have any walking handicap or heart issues it may be difficult to get up and down the steps to get to the dock . But , like I said the view is great right from the living room."
