  • Awesome location at base of Schuss Mt

"We really enjoyed our stay in this condo for 2 nights at the end of January, 2017. The location of the condo is very convenient. You just walk across the parking lot to get to the bottom of the ski hill. If you are like my son, you can simply ski all the way back to the condo! We walked back and forth from the condo to the ski hill several times throughout the day making it very easy to rest and eat in the condo. The condo is not huge, but it was a good enough size for 2 families (4 adults, 5 kids). The couch in the loft pulls out for another bed. The only complaint we really have are the mattresses - some of them need replacing. It is difficult to share a double bed with 2 adults, especially when the mattress is like a hammock and you keep rolling to the middle. In the lower bedroom, I noticed one bed was hammock-like while the other seemed firmer. Also, the condo does not come with access to the pools located in the main lodge nearby, which would be a nice addition to be able to use. Overall, a good deal for the price and the location."

  • Pleasant stay.

"Relaxing surroundings. Condo was nicely furnished. Bedrooms, not only inviting, but comfortable. Lovely kitchen, fully appointed with glass not plastic dinnerware. Though there was an electric coffeemaker, would have liked a Kuerig. Would I stay here again? You bet, but a word of caution. Photo on the web site reflexs the floor plan not the actual furnishings of the condo you book."

  • Excellent Property!

"We rented this home as a Christmas gift for our adult children. We wanted to stay together for a ski weekend. All total, there were 11 of us. There was plenty of room for all of us without anyone feeling crowded. The basement space was cozy and allowed for some of the group to break off when they needed their space. The loft area was very cool, also. The layout of the first floor was very open and provided an excellent place to play games or just have conversations. The property was absolutely beautiful! I found it to be clean and it had all of the amenities that we needed to make for a relaxing stay. We skied at Boyne Mountain, which was about 40 minutes away. There were very few restaurant options this time of year, but we ordered pizza from a local place the first night and it was really good - the second night we ate at the Pelican's Roost restaurant right at the end of the driveway - food was a bit better than bar food. Back to the property - the views were spectacular, it sits atop a hill on the golf course and is very secluded. This was the first time I had used VBRO and I had a few problems, but the owners were timely and polite in their responses. Having only two full baths was a bit of a challenge, but it didn't detract from the overall stay. The only recommendation I would have is to bring your own towels/washcloths- there was only one towel left on each of the beds and the towels were fairly small. Not a big deal, but something to know (the owner solicited feedback and I shared this, they said they would correct it for future stays)."
