  • New owners of this home are GREAT to work with.

"A couple of family members and I decided on the spur of the moment to do a spring get away. We only had a week to plan. Came across this home, sent a request, and the same day the owner responded. She was very easy to work with and professional. Within no time everything was set to go. She even let us check in a little sooner since no one was staying there the night before. When we arrived at the PRIVATE GATED community. We typed in the access code and entered the subdivision. The subdivision must have a few hundred lots, but not to many homes. So it was very peaceful and quiet. The house sits back off the road which made it even more secluded. The house was very well kept up. Landscaping was beautiful, the hot tub a extra bonus, but the waterfall wasn't turn on yet or the Koi fish weren't there. Since we were there to early in the season. So we differently have to go back to stay to see that. The inside of the home was cozy with separate sleeping areas. The 3 of us all had private bedroom suites. Kitchen was well equipped as well as the bathrooms with extra soaps, shampoos and toilet tissue. The town of Bellaire was just a short 15 minute driveway. Great pastry/coffee shop plus restaurants. The Smokehouse was a good find to. We enjoyed taking walks through the hilly subdivision and sitting on the deck during the days and evenings. Most differently will have to stay there again."

  • Loved borrowing your condo !

"Property was as described and even more. Quiet, relaxing alternative to staying right at the Summit. Kitchen well stocked with all new appliances. Though we did not utilize for cooking , but easily could have and they seemed to have everything. Full stove, microwave, dishwasher, and a blender. (Washer and dryer as well) Brought our own toiletries (TP and paper towel) and laundry soap but it wasn't necessary, they were furnished. Loved having the private wifi. Being a decent hike to the Summit I'm sure the resort wifi would have been sketchy. My boyfriend is a techy himself so he really appreciated your network and had brought his PS4. Arrived late on a cold evening so the fireplace was great. Would highly recommend your home to others. We will definitely be requesting a stay at another time and hope to utilize the private pool that's only a stones throw away when it's open. While here we utilized the Shuttle at the Summit to go into downtown Bellaire for dinner, & stop at Shorts. Only negative was there was slight evidence of a dog in the living room. No damage or smell. Just some hair. Don't believe most people would notice. If I wasn't so highly allergic I don't believe I would have. Thank you so much for letting us use your home away. 5+ stars"

  • Ski Weekend

"Stayed here for two nights with friends, 4 adults, 3 kids, and were very pleased with the house and accommodations. Plenty of beds and room to relax in. Large kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook one of our dinners for our hungry crew of skiers. Had dinner our first night at Shorts Brewery in Bellaire, which was really good (beer and food) and a short drive away. Loved the location in the woods, very pretty and felt secluded. Gloria (owner) was very nice and easy to work with in getting everything arranged. No problems at all with the house or the reservation. Would also be a great setting in the summer. Outdoor fire pit area looked like a great place to hang out. Would definitely stay here again when we ski at Schuss."

  • Very well cared for, plenty of space, good location

"This property is very well cared for, and most importantly to me, CLEAN. More than enough towels and any kitchen appliance/utensil you could need. Two stall attached garage was a nice plus. We stayed with another family, four adults and six kids ranging in age from 8-16 and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and spread out. Entry off garage is the laundry area but also what I would call a "mud room" - plenty of rugs and convenient for taking shoes off and not having to track into the house, we also used it for our ski boots every night. Short drive into Bellaire, where we always hit up Shorts Brewery for their delicious sandwiches and of course beer! About 20 min drive to Schuss Mountain. Our only disappointment was that the fireplace is apparently not currently in working order and we weren't notified in advance of this. Since it is advertised in the listing (photo of the family room mentions having a cozy fire) and it was ski season, we were looking forward to coming back in the evenings after skiing and being able to enjoy a fire. However, there is a sign stating it is not to be used. All in all, both families were impressed with the property and would consider staying again and recommending it to others."
