"I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful place. Shelly and Dave, you have a wonderful home away from home up in Boyne. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs units for our large family of 10, which includes 3 adult children, 3 teens and 2 younger boys. The bathrooms are elegant and spacious, stocked with hair dryers and tons of fluffy towels. Everybody had a comfortable place to be day and night, more than room enough to have some alone time. The condo is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Beds are comfortable, TV and internet and Verizon coverage terrific. The downstairs unit has more room to cook, but we could have managed in the upstairs unit even for our big group. One tiny suggestion would be more seating for dining, indoors or out, but we managed just fine with both units. Washer and dryer in downstairs unit only was a big plus. The downstairs grill was a lovely summertime addition! The area around the condo is super-private and we had no interaction with any of the other guests other than to see each other getting into our cars. We enjoyed the tennis courts, pool and giant hot tub at the Clock Tower Lodge, walks around the lovely property that is Boyne Mountain, particularly Disciples Ridge where the condo is located. A short drive into Boyne City for whatever you need (try the Boyne City bakery- incredible croissants and danish; Family Fare Supermarket is quite nice), and a pleasant 30 minute car ride up to Charlevoix or Petoskey to enjoy the big lakes (please go to Fisherman's Island State Park in Charlevoix- the Lake Michigan day beach is the most beautiful spot I have ever seen, sparkling water, not crowded, gorgeous!). We hunted for Petoskey stones along the shore and walked/waded out to Fisherman's Island- what a joy. We came back tan, well-rested, and happy. Shelly and Dave, you have been such a pleasure to work with, so responsive and helpful. We had the best family vacation ever, and are already planning for next year. Thank you!!"
