  • Cozy getaway

"This cottage proved to be a wonderful space to spend a fall weekend. It was perfectly accommodating for 8 adults - 3 full bathrooms, 4 separate sleeping areas, and a kitchen table big enough to fit everyone comfortably. The fireplaces throughout were a nice touch and there were plenty of blankets, towels, dishes, and utensils to make it feel like a home away from home. The property owner was very responsive, proving easy to work with helpful along the way. Plus, the house was tucked away amidst gorgeous fall leaves with a beautiful view of the lake. Would definitely consider staying again."

  • Great location, comfy cottage

"Stayed a week in September to see my sister in Petoskey. Nicely located in Oden, about a 10 to 15 minute drive to Petoskey and a 40 minute drive from Mackinaw/Mackinac (apparently they are pronounced "aw"). We went to Whitefish point in the UP and then to Sault Sainte Marie in Ontario; spent a day on Mackinac Island. We didn't but fudge or a T-shirt as that did not enhance the beauty of the Island. Then, there is the bike trail just out the backyard: paved to the west you can get to Petoskey and beyond or up to Bay View. To the east the trail is hard gravel and you could ride to Mackinaw, jump on a ferry and ride around the Island. While I certainly didn't ride all that way, I could have done it on my single geared bike as the trail is old railroad bed and flat: I am looking forward to doing that on my next visit. The cottage in Northwoods comfortable, it lacks for nothing. The water is artesian well water -- which makes for good beer as I discovered at the Petoskey Brewing company just down the trail. Would I rent there again? You bet!"

  • Beautiful home, great location and wonderful time

"Steve, we had a wonderful time at your home on Lake Michigan in Manistee. The views from the rooms were spectacular, we loved being right on the beach and lake. Even got to see a bald eagle fly over head. Your home had plenty of room, everything was very clean and well kept, beautiful kitchen and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch relaxing. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. Sleeping with the windows open at night and hearing the waves made for a great night sleep. We would definitely would do this again and would recommend to others."

  • Great Vacation!

"This was our first visit to the Leelanau Penninsula. My husband and I chose this place partly because of its waterfront location. It was a great choice! The apartment was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. The owners were very welcoming and made sure all of our questions were answered. The location was perfect for us since it was much more relaxing than staying in the village of Suttons Bay. It was easy to get to everything we wanted to do while in the Leelanau area. We loved being able to ride our bikes from the property to the TART trail less than three miles away. We enjoyed swimming and using the kayaks. And, of course, we looked forward to the lovely sunsets each evening. Our week turned out to be abnormally warm, but the lake breezes helped to keep the apartment cool enough to be comfortable. We definitely recommend this place."
