  • Perfect for our Work Retreat

"We just returned home from Edgetts Lodge yesterday and are already missing the place! Our 9 person tech company just spent 4 memorable days on the property and exploring the surrounding areas. For starters, the inside of the place is immaculate with a cozy lodge like setting, fireplaces, a kitchen with cast iron cooking supplies and much more. With 3 different levels, there were plenty of places for us to hang out and chat or enjoy the scenery. The living room is particularly spectacular with it's sweeping views of the Pine River and the surrounding forest. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were plentiful and surrounding decks gave you plenty of places to sit outside and relax. The grounds themselves were perfect, with fire pits down by the river and up near the house, you could enjoy a bonfire regardless of the season. The special treat that topped it off was both the kayaks that allowed you to jump right into the river and the nearby hiking trails that explored another section of the Pine River. Thanks Edgetts Lodge for a memorable experience."

  • Wonderful, peaceful cottage.

"A gem of a place on a private lake. I stayed with three friends for a fishing / golfing weekend. Peaceful and relaxing. The nearby golf courses, only minutes away, were fantastic. Fishing on the lake was good (pike). I will most certainly return with friends and family."

  • Homey, relaxing cottage

"If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay in Cadillac, MI, close enough to civilization, yet remote enough to be rejuvenating, this place is for you. From the moment we walked through the door, I felt I could call this place home for a few days. Maybe it was nostalgia, or maybe it was because this place lacked for none of the comforts of home yet still had a vacation feeling, I felt comfortable and relaxed here. Close to all the northwestern Michigan must-sees, this cottage provides a perfect place to relax after a day of touring, antiquing, cherry-picking, sand-duning, or anything else you can dream up. Or, stay close to home and drift on the lake, while watching flocks of birds overhead. Sleep with the windows open, and wake up to the sun coming up over the lake. You cannot find a more comfortable, affordable place to stay in the area."
