"Just left and so miss that wonderful veranda! Great week! We are already looking to returning same time next year. Pictures do not give it justice...wonderful Lake Michigan rental...exemplitifies "pure Michigan"!! Thank you so very much for sharing this treasure! We so enjoyed your dish TV (not available in most rentals in the area) and hope you may consider wi-Fi in the future. :). We actually only took a couple day trips because we so loved the home! Home away from home could not be any better...who lives on Lake Michigan and can watch it's ever changing personality? Thanks to the Graham's!"

  • Our stay at Cranmer Hearth...

"We have vacationed on Lake Michigan for the last 20 years, and have stayed in many lovely homes on the water. This property however offers all you could ever want, 200 feet of beach, 3 acres, you are surrounded by trees and no one else. The house is amazing inside, with plenty of room the relax and enjoy. The beach is great and nice to be a short walk from the house, much more private than most we have rented. Really enjoyed the Master Bedroom shower, the view is spectacular and a first for us having a view from the shower. The grill and the deck are perfect, along with the fire pit. Enjoyed the view while reading a book or two. We have been watching this property for several years and finally decided it was time. It was all we wanted and more, we will be coming back. Thanks to Shannon for answering all my questions, and for Joe being a saint for renting such a beautiful home. You now have another faithful returning customer, Thanks again, Terry & Liz"

  • a "gem' of a vacation spot

"We had a wonderful vacation(4 adults-4 kids -6,7,9,11, and a baby) at this lovely cottage, nestled between the trees on beautiful Lake Michigan. The cottage was tastefully decorated, immaculate and offered us spectacular lake views from every room. From a well-equipped kitchen to bath towels/beach towels, washer and dryer all our needs were met. The owners were a pleasure to work with, they patiently answered all our questions and made the renting process very easy. We spent most of our days just relaxing on the the beach, swimming, building sand castles, hunting for rocks, and kayaking. With 4 kids and a baby we loved that the beach was just a short walk from the cottage so it made toting all our beach stuff very easy!! At night we marveled at the glorious sunsets, gazed at the breath-taking heavens and roasted marshmallows around the firepit. And one night we were gifted with a thrilling view of the Northern Lights. My grandchildren loved catching the frogs in the tiny pond in the front yard. It kept them busy while we were relaxing on the the spacious deck and just enjoying all the peace and serenity that this vacation spot has to offer. We biked a bit of the Traverse Wheelway, visited a nearby fish hatchery, and my daughter and son-in-law trekked up to Pictured Rocks a mere 2-3 hours away. We drove to Mackinaw City and stocked up on fudge and ate whitefish at Darrow’s, a family- friendly restaurant that we highly recommend. We love, love this vacation cottage and hope to come back next year. Oh, and we found 3 Petoskey stones! Thank-you Robert and Shari!"
