  • Perfect

"Hi Steve, everything was really great. My only recommendation is to try to designate a fuxed place on the beach to have a campfire. Maybe a fixed ring will keep all if the charred wood in lication for an easy clean up and avoid little pieces of charcoal in multiple places. As you can see.. If this is the only thing i can think of ... Your place was PERFECT !!!!! Enjoy the rest of your summer! Bob Sorry about the spelling... Fixed not fuxed Location not lication"

  • Perfect family lake place

"This was exactly what I was looking for - decent cottage on a peaceful not too big not too small lake. Paddlecraft, docks, and raft were in good shape - we used all of them constantly. Beach area is in spotty shade/sun so you keep cool, but if you want to sun - hang out on the raft, which has reclining chairbacks and a little table for your drink. Lake is small enough to swim across - go early before the jetskis come out. Powercraft not too annoying, very intermittent when we were there. Cottage itself was nice enough for what we needed it for - sleeping. It's a cottage so it's nothing fancy but has all the basics. Four in my family - wife, 13 yr old, 11 yr old. We were there for 3 nights and did visits to Dunes and Traverse City - both with time left to come back to play in the lake. Not sure the kids could have done a week there, but pretty sure I could have, with a good book or two."

  • Hostess with the Mostess!!

"We had a lovely time at this quaint little cottage on the lake!! Two bedrooms plus a futon made it perfect and incredibly affordable for our party of 5. Despite the heat (it was in the 90's) the cottage is shaded by woods and has many ceiling fans to keep it comfortable, even during a heat wave. And there's always the lake. Small, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Sally, the owner, was close enough to help with anything we needed. She was also (over) careful to respect our privacy, so if solitude is what you seek, still a great choice. But we are social people who LOVED her company, stories, tips, etc. She even took us out on her pontoon for a cruise around the lake and partied with us a bit- what a hoot! The fire pit was the gathering place at night while we watched lightning bugs and shooting stars buzz on by while listening to the soothing sounds of the night frogs. We almost felt like locals by the end of the trip and we're sad to leave. We will be back Sally, and we're bringing some more cold Michigan brewskis with us! Thanks for everything!"

  • Excellent accommodations for 2 adults and 4 teenagers

"The condo is spacious, clean and within a few steps to the slopes. The owner was easy to work with and we will stay here again in the future. This unit is on the ground floor so it is literally ski in and out. The master bath is huge and the second bath is large with an entry to bedroom or common area. Very well thought out."
