  • Great place for a family vacation

"We recently stayed in this great house for a week with extended family (9 adults, 6 kids) and there was plenty of room for everyone. Having 2 living areas was nice because the kids could have their own space if needed. We were blessed with sunny and hot weather so most of our time was spent outside. Pros: beautiful panoramic lakeviews, nice dock with sundeck, huge deck, kitchen nicely stocked, house was clean and comfortable, large bathrooms, lots of parking, very close to town and to Indian River to access Mullett Lake. Cons: rocky shore and bottom of lake ( bring water shoes!), cannot keep boat at the dock--2 moorings available--not a big deal unless you are older or younger and cant swim out to the moorings, only the master bedroom has a ceiling fan, there are no umbrellas on the deck for shade nor are there any trees in the yard for shade. The only issue we had was with the garbage. Most of the outdoor garbage bins were full upon arrival and as of the Friday prior to departure noone came to collect the garbage. We notified the owner on friday to let him know. We felt bad when we left because there was no place to put our garbage and had to leave it next to the garbage cans."

  • Hidden gem in the woods

"We stayed at Unit 18 over the Fourth of July holiday and we were very pleased with the unit. The kitchen has been recently renovated and had all new appliances and granite countertops. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything one would need. There were five beds (two bedrooms with doors and a open air loft), and very comfortable couch and love seat. The unit is air conditioned and had fans. There was a very nice small deck with 4 chairs to enjoy morning coffee or a meal. Overall, this unit was neat, clean and very comfortable. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and I would not hesitate to rent again from them! Harbor Cove is a wonderful community with a private beach, pool and tennis courts and an easy bike ride or healthy walk to downtown Harbor Springs. The private beach was lovely because there were no crowds and the club house there had clean bathrooms and outdoor faucets to hose down after leaving the beach. There is even an indoor pool for days when it is rainy. Great condo, great community!"

  • Perfect vacation location

"We had the absolute best time staying here. Tom was amazing to work with for our trip and the location of the cabin is amazing. Perfect for a family get away. My 2 year old loved being able to swim right off the dock. We will definitely be booking again to stay next year. Thanks again Tom for being an amazing host for my family vacation"

  • Christmas family vacation

"Our family really enjoyed our stay during this Christmas holiday. The cottage was more than accommodating for 6 adults and one toddler. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed skiing at Nubs Nob and were able to get a little snowmobiling in despite the thaw/rain the day we arrived. Would love to spend time here in the summer also! The owner was very quick to respond to my request for rental and it was nice to have the personal contact. Would recommend to anyone looking for that up north experience!"
