  • Nice Rental

"We stayed in the house in Frankfort over Labor Day weekend. The house was clean, stocked with linens and towels, and had plenty of space (including parking) for all 6 of us. My only complaint was that the upholstered chairs seemed to be slightly damp on the first night we arrived - probably weather-related. It was located within walking distance to town, which we visited every day. We rented bikes, shopped, hit up the local cafes, and went to the beach. Overall, we had a nice experience. We will be returning, and would recommend to others."

  • Comforts of Home on Crystal Lake

"What a wonderful week we had staying in this lovely and cozy home. Stewart and Linda were wonderful hosts making us feel as welcome as old friends. The home has an enormous deck overlooking the lake where we had meals, danced and just relaxed reading and star gazing at night. We loved relaxing out there watching and listening for wildlife, wild turkeys in the morning and deer in the evening! The master suite has a very comfortable king size bed and sofas and we were happy to have private full baths in the two separate living areas. Our granddaughter was overjoyed with the fire pit area where we roasted marshmallows and played in the sand. We spent hours at the end of the dock both swimming and just lounging on the comfortable benches watching the sunset. This home exceeded all of our expectations and certainly plan to return next year."

  • Very nice cabin on Crystal Lake.

"We had 6 women and all off us really liked the cabin. The main reason I chose this cabin was because of the review where the family had stayed in 5 other cabins on Crystal Lake and this "The Family Cottage" was the best. The cabin is very clean, did not have that closed up smell, it smelled clean and beds are comfortable. Up stairs was very big with 4 full size beds, room for suitcases and still space to walk around. Downstairs 2 couches, a loveseat and a large chair all great for viewing the large flat screen TV. 3 big windows to look out over the lake 1 in the living room, 1 in the dining area and 1 in the master bedroom. Master bed room has a very comfortable queen bed. Even if your doing the dishes you have a beautiful view of the lake. The porch is big and we could only imagine the furniture that we saw in the garage on the porch because we went in April it was to cold to sit outside. Location was great we visited Traverse City, Frank Fort, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Manistee, Glen Arbor and Leland City. We will be going back next year."

  • Cozy and Peaceful

"We had a wonderful time at Scott and Nancy's cottage. The home was beautiful, cozy and equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning having coffee and then a cocktail in the evening watching the boats go by. The view off the porch was breathtaking! We visited Frankfort which was a great town with an awesome public beach. We also visited Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Pt Betsie. The only negative was it was very hot the week we were there and didn't get much sleep because there was no central air. They did provide plenty of fans and Nancy was always very helpful if we had any questions. I highly recommend this cozy place and our family would definitely go back!"
