  • What a cozy weekend retreat! We would highly recommend this rental.

"My husband and I and our dog stayed in the cabin for a weekend at the beginning of November. It was so cute and cozy and inviting, we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in a beautiful landscape. The owners were wonderful, they welcomed us as soon as we arrived and made us feel right at home. Not only was it a beautiful area in the woods, but a perfect short drive to the heart of Traverse City. We will definitely be back!"

  • Beautiful property! Not only met, but exceeded expectations!

"The condo was well furnished, well maintained, very clean and comfortable! The owners supplied everything you need for your stay - sheets, towels, coffee, games, soaps, Kleenex, paper towel, etc. Everything to make a pleasant stay is provided. The condo was spacious and has a nice outside view. It is in a nice quiet location, not too far from the ski hill, restaurants or activities. The owners are good to work with, communicate well and go out of their way to make sure things are right. We appreciated the comfortable new mattresses, as described. Clear and simple rental instructions are provided to make your stay carefree. We would definitely stay here again and we are looking forward to making another visit! We're happy to give a great review, but hope it doesn't make it harder to rent next time!!!"

  • Lived like Royalty for the weekend!

"Communication was great- right from the start! A group of 9 adults ands 3 kids went and enjoyed this beautiful home for the winter weekend. Debra, even worked with us when we arrived to town early! There was more then enough space for all of us! The fireplace warms the house and the windows have beautiful views with a lot of wildlife to enjoy! The house is stocked with everything you need and more. It was a neat home with much character! A grocery store is 3 mins away, and your minutes away from downtown. Come enjoy this home! You won't be disappointed. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home with all of us!"

  • Wonderful place to stay

"This is a lovely home in a great location. It is roomy yet cozy. We had a group ranging in age from 1-65 and it worked great for all of us. We really enjoyed hanging out in the living room, dining area , sharing ski stories at the end of the day. I especially liked the room off back entrance for everyone to use to take off ski stuff. The basement is very roomy. I was afraid it would be chilly but it was very comfortable. A great place for the kids to hang out. Lots of movies but we didn't have time for any. There was plenty of firewood provided, and ample parking which is a plus. I cook quite a bid and very much appreciate essential supplies provided, salt, pepper, some spices, cooking oil, etc, dish soap, etc. The only reason I didn't give 4 stars is the bathroom in basement, shower is in jacuzzi tub and you have to walk through bedroom to get to it and showers upstairs are kind of small. Really not anything to take away from your stay as long as you know. I would definitely recommend staying here. As a matter of fact my grandson, age 6, asked several times if we could buy a house and stay."
