  • Spectacular

"We rented this property for the Zoo-de-Mac biking festival in May 2016. We had perfect weather and the location was perfect as well. Great place. We loved being right on the beach. The bar/pool table in the lower level was fun. The main floor was just amazing. We cooked most nights and the views were just breathtaking and peaceful. Walking the beach was intoxicating."

  • Cozy home, great location, great amenities :-)

"This is our second time at this lovely timber framed home near Harbor Springs, so that says something right there. The home is beautiful and cozy inside. Very clean and well stocked. Owner provided great service with speedy communications and flexibility. We picked the place based on location, price, and previous stay satisfaction. The home is in the rolling hills just outside of Harbor Springs on a beautiful wooded lot. We stayed here with another couple, which worked out very well with two floors, each having it's own full bath. It would also be a great space for a family stay. The clean basement has a very nice newer washer/dryer set so you can get the laundry done before you head home, making the unpacking quick and easy after your trip. The kitchen has been redone since our previous stay, with huge french door fridge, matching range and microwave. Granite (I think) countertops, copper sink, and tile floor add to the beauty. The oak flooring in the dining area is also very beautiful. The kitchen is also very well stocked with extras, spices, sugar, etc. The fall colors on the property and in the surrounding area during our visit were crazy nice. The real wood stove was a comfy thing after sightseeing on those chilly fall days. The WiFi internet speed in the home was very fast and solid (I measured around 25 Mbps). This was very refreshing after staying at so many places that advertise broadband (when their speeds end up being as slow as an old dial-up modem). It's 15-20 minutes to Petoskey, 45 minutes to the Upper Peninsula, and 2 minutes to Harbor Springs. We hit a lot of great restaurants and a few wineries in the area, as well as Johan's Pastry Shop in Harbor Springs. All-in-all, the place was everything we wanted it to be, and we'll be back :-) Cheers for this beautiful home in Northern Michigan!"
