  • Nice Peaceful Getaway

"Recently stayed here over the fourth of July weekend and it was very relaxing. Cabin was clean and the location is close to a winery as well as drive in movie theatre. Sleeping Bear sand dunes was a 20 minute drive. The river is peaceful and offers great fishing."

  • a wonderful visit

"I was at this wonderful cottage on Bass Lake for a week, enjoying all the amenities of this cottage, which is beautifully furnished with everything one could possibly need. We were there to enjoy the cooler fall weather and see the foliage, which did not disappoint! Close to beautiful drives, including the dunes, lighthouses, wineries, shopping and and great restaurants, I highly recommend this stay for others. Although this was a "ladies only" week, I could easily see how families with children would love it too ~ lots of outdoors activities right on the property, including kayaks, boating, swimming in the lake, and more. I would love to come back!"

  • Perfect for Enjoying Outdoor Activities and Traverse Area

"We stayed here with our 13- and 10-year-old sons and we all loved it. The house and "up north" decor was perfect for us, with plenty of space for everyone -- in fact the boys enjoyed "camping" together in the lower level. The pontoon boat worked out great for fishing and swimming. We caught quite a few nice fish and a lot of small ones. The boys also enjoyed the paddle boats. The setting is beautiful and was perfect for a campfire by the lake each night. The house is a short drive to Traverse City. The owners were very easy to work with."

  • Perfect For A Girls Getaway!

"The Dream Catcher worked beautifully for our group of five adults and two children. So many rentals claim a well stocked kitchen and end up disappointingly unequipped, not the Dream Catcher, there were plenty of dishes and cooking supplies! The cottage was clean and well maintained and we found a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived, a lovely touch."
