  • Great place for a trip up north!

"The cabin was great and the owner was fantastic to work with! The cabin is located near Interlochen, which has a number of things to do. In addition, it is half way between Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City, ensuring that you are never too far from a lot of potential activities. Green Lake is located across the street from the cottage with swimming access, which the kids loved. (The included canoe and kayak were also great.) The cottage itself was well kept and clean upon arrival. My family really enjoyed our time there. The owner provided good communication and was highly responsive throughout the entire experience. Highly recommend!"

  • Perfect Family Lake House

"We love Maple Woods Cottage! My family of 5 has come for a summer week, off and on, for quite a few years. The cottage and lake are perfect! The cottage is cozy and well-equipped and comfortably sleeps all of us, with room to spare! The deck is perfect for morning coffee, reading and evening cocktails. But the beach, lake, boats, swimming and fishing are what it is all about! Sandy bottom, clear lake and loaded with fish! There are actually 6 boats that families can use while they are there…including a great fishing boat with a power motor! And, the area has lots of fun things to do, if you want to explore. It’s hard to get the kids away from the lake on sunny days, however. We can’t wait to come back!"

  • Perfect For A Girls Getaway!

"The Dream Catcher worked beautifully for our group of five adults and two children. So many rentals claim a well stocked kitchen and end up disappointingly unequipped, not the Dream Catcher, there were plenty of dishes and cooking supplies! The cottage was clean and well maintained and we found a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived, a lovely touch."

  • DT

"My new husband an I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was perfect! I love all of the windows in the living room. We sat on the deck or at the kitcken table drinking coffee each morning after making breakfast to enjoy the beautiful view of the trees and lake. The lication is very quiet and peaceful. Although there are neighbors, it was so quiet that it felt like we were the only ones there. Very romantic and cozzy sitting by the firepit at night. We had the lake all to ourselves except for 2 ducks who live on the lake. The ducks greeted us on the dock each morning as we fished. We miss this place already! The owner is very helpful and responds to inquiries quickly. I would definately stay here again! Thanks for everything Randy."
