  • Perfect family vacation

"We spent a lovely week here in early September and could not ask for a more beautiful, well maintained or better equipped home in a perfect setting on the lake. It is very spacious, easily accommodating our six adults and two children, and the owners, right next door, were very welcoming and happy to assist in any way. There are multiple beach chairs, chaises and umbrellas on the lovely beach or decks, and the use of kayaks and paddle boards was a terrific bonus for a multi generational family vacation. the home is close to several towns with lots to do, but is itself in a quiet, secluded area and gave us all a very serene setting. We all wish were were back already."

  • Peaceful

"Wonderful house with numerous rooms. The location is great as it in the middle of the LeeLanau Peninsula. Just down the street from The Redhead Cafe which has lot's of organic, gluten free, and health options. The fireplace is very nice for wintertime and the hot tub worked great as well. I would definitely come back."

  • Excellent location, great views, functional accomodations

"My wife & I have been to Leelanau Co. often and did a fall weekend trip for some sightseeing. The property has a great perspective on the lake and is centrally located with quick access to town as well as Suttons Bay and Leland. The main house was just right size for us. It was clean, had everything we needed and functional (although would not describe it as luxurious). We found a few new places for food and drink- try VI grill or HopLot brewery in Suttons Bay. In Leland stop in at Trishes Dishes for breakfast or lunch. If you have already done Sleeping Bear Dunes, consider a hike @ Pyramid Point on a clear day. Or rent bikes in Suttons Bay to head down the paved TART trail, there are some wineries just a bit off the path too."

  • We felt like we were at our own home.

"This property was an amazing place for our New Years Eve weekend. The house is well maintained and you feel right at home, but without any of that family drama, lol. We cook a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed. The owner, Bill, was super nice, easy going, and very responsive to the few questions we had. Very easy check in and check out. We will be here next year if we can all make it."
