  • Our Daughter's Wedding

"Wow, what a great place for a large family. Our daughter was getting married and we thought how are we gong to get everyone in the same house. This place is perfect large kitchen, large bedrooms, living room and a great front porch. There is even a little room with children's toys. The house was very clean. The yard is huge and Annie just put in a beautiful fire pit which was used everyday, which we had lots of great conversations. The location is amazing across the street is a very nice local bar, a grocery store, restaurant and a local beauty shop which were amazing as we needed. You are so close to downtown Sutton Bay one way and then the other way is Leland can't get any better There is a boat rental place right behind the house, which we were able to rent a pontoon for the day, what a beautiful ride. Annie was so great to work with, we could call at anytime and she always responded in a timely matter Annie Thank You for letting us rent this great place for a great event with lots of Happy Memories."

  • Wonderful stay!

"We were delighted to meet Rose, who is a sweetheart. The cottage was perfect for us, a couple with a teenage daughter. The setting was peaceful and lovely, and the cottage was very clean and comfortable. We were so glad we didn't stay with the rest of the wedding guests at Fountain Point, as it was noisy there, the cabins were not on the lake, and it would have cost $300-$500/night there. Pick up some Indian food at J&T's!"

  • Great rental

"The house and location are very unique, and exactly as advertised. The house is really spacious and comfortable, with all kinds of cool details in the woodwork and layout, loved it. The property is very secluded and huge, lots to explore, and the mowed paths make it easy to do that. The lake frontage is also amazing, including a new dock, plenty of seating, and a fire pit. It's also a great base from which to explore other areas of the Leelanau Peninsula, Sleeping Bear, Old Mission Peninsula, etc. cause it's so centrally located. Kate was super responsive and helpful, we highly recommend this house. Also, was quite surprised to find that there really weren't many mosquitoes in late June, even though the house is in the middle of the woods. We sat out on the deck till midnight without any issues."
