  • Fully equipped with unbeatable location!

"Stayed in this rental for a long weekend with friends. Home feels incredibly spacious and has a very open living room that sits/fits your entire party as you connect together overlooking the beautiful bay with a warm fire crackling. The spare room off the garage is also a very nice bonus, seemed very comfortable for a couple or kids. Home has everything you need to stay in as well as an unbeatable location just minutes from the village of Suttons Bay as well as local hot spots like Hop Lots Brewery. We stayed during November, but could only imagine the possibilities with premium waterfront access on a calm and sandy bay. Just perfection. Our group had 4 couples plus a golden retriever and felt very spread out when needed with absolute privacy. Highly recommend for families, friends and groups of all ages looking to enjoy the Leelanau Peninsula."

  • Beautiful week at a beautiful lake house...

"Intermediate Lake has been a home away from home for my family since 1983, and the Bellaire area for my father's family since the 60's. I grew up staying at Holiday Shores resort on Intermediate Lake for a week every August. We ventured away for several years staying on several other lakes throughout Northern Michigan, but our hearts were always at Intermediate Lake and we longed to go back. We finally returned to Intermediate Lake four years ago staying in a couple of other lake homes, but I would have to say this was all around my favorite spot. We had such a great time in this beautiful lake house. The layout is so open and airy with windows lining the entire front giving views of the lake from every angle. The house is decorated so nicely with pretty comfy furniture and an amazing dining room table. We loved having the fully finished walkout basement for added hang out space and the second refrigerator downstairs was perfect while we were down by the water. The outdoor furniture is very nice and comfortable. We were very impressed with how well everything is kept. We rented a pontoon for a couple of days allowing us to get out and enjoy the beauty of the entire lake and go to the sandbar for some great swimming. We loved taking the kayaks and paddle boat out at dust and dawn while the lake was calm and glassy. So peaceful. We found getting into the water from the shore pretty tricky with all the large rocks but the neighbor Tom was very nice in letting us use his frontage. Stairs with a railing off the dock or the shoreline would be ideal, especially for older people if the rocks are necessary to prevent erosion. But with that being said, in all of our years we have never stayed in a more friendly community. All of the neighbors are so amazing and inviting. Jerry, even invited us over to his "man cave" boat house to watch the game, etc. What a nice guy! Our daily walks were met with smiling faces and hellos. The "Secret Garden" at the bend in the road was so cute and fun to walk through. And the people of Central Lake itself are all so nice. We felt like a part of the community from the moment we pulled in the driveway. I would highly recommend visiting the Blue Pelican in Central Lake during your stay here. The outdoor tiki bar is so fun with live music and great service. This was our first family vacation without my dad. And we could not have asked for a better place. He would have love it. Thank you for a great stay."

  • Very clean, modern and spacious directly on the lake. Plenty of room for our family.

"Great time was had by all. Morning and evening fishing from the private dock resulted in over 50 perch for the week and several bass. We loved the quick proximity to Torch lake and rented a pontoon for the day. Many beaches around and easy trips to Traverse City too. We were very pleased with the cottage and property. We will be back!"
