  • DT

"My new husband an I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was perfect! I love all of the windows in the living room. We sat on the deck or at the kitcken table drinking coffee each morning after making breakfast to enjoy the beautiful view of the trees and lake. The lication is very quiet and peaceful. Although there are neighbors, it was so quiet that it felt like we were the only ones there. Very romantic and cozzy sitting by the firepit at night. We had the lake all to ourselves except for 2 ducks who live on the lake. The ducks greeted us on the dock each morning as we fished. We miss this place already! The owner is very helpful and responds to inquiries quickly. I would definately stay here again! Thanks for everything Randy."

  • Large, comfortable and well-equipped home on peaceful Bryan Lake. Great location!

"This house had plenty of space, inside and out, for our family of six during a week-long family reunion. The older boys loved paddling on Bryan lake, playing pool and games in the family room, and our 3-year old enjoyed the nice selection of books. The deck was perfect for a large family gathering one evening. We also took advantage of a nearby Almira Township Park and enjoyed its picnic shelters, bathrooms and playground equipment. Other activities included climbing the Dunes, kayaking the Platte River, playing on Frankfurt's beach and exploring nearby Traverse City. The owners are very caring and thoughtful and provided all the necessary information about their home. Barb and Steve, thank you for sharing your piece of paradise."

  • Exactly what an upscale cottage should be

"This home was everything we hoped for. Less than 2 minutes from the village of Suttons Bay we were close to the main artery of the Leelenau Peninsula and had easy access. The home is situated right on Suttons Bay with beautiful views of the bay and sunsets every night. We had three different families travel to meet up for a vacation here and the layout of the home was perfect. A couple bedrooms on one side of the home with a bathroom then the other three bedrooms on the other side with another bathroom. The living area was large and spread out. Perfect for a large group. Something we really enjoyed here was all of the home's decor and history. The linens were high end and there was always a towel when needed. We made use of the washer/dryer for day to day things, very easy to use and in a convenient spot. The lounging area by the bay was also large with many chairs. We kayaked and swam everyday. While we miss there not being a beach as the water comes right up to the seawall it really didn't hinder our usage. The water is still shallow enough that our toddler grandson was able to play in the shallow water. The owner was readily available with any questions we had during our stay and left us ample information on the area in the house for our use. I highly recommend this home especially for a larger family gathering."
