  • Warm, Cozy and Perfect!

"I rented this cabin for my boyfriend and I as a winter getaway. I wanted a cute cozy cabin secluded in the woods and this was exactly what I got with Whispering Pines! The fireplace was perfect, there was fresh cut firewood for us so we never had to buy any. The hot tub was warm and clean, ready for us to enjoy! The atmosphere of the whole cabin was so serene. The huge window in the living room gave awesome natural daytime light as well! You were not far from water and not too far from town. We went to town and enjoyed some coffee and donuts from Barb's Bakery and walked through some little shops! Although many were closed for the season, the town was so cute! Not to far north of the cabin was the Grand Traverse Lighthouse and Christmas Cove. It was beautiful!! We will definitely be staying here again!! Thank you Tom for giving us the pleasure of staying at your wonderful cabin!!"

  • Lovely!

"When my niece's wedding fell through at the last minute, because hurricane Matthew had other plans, we ended up looking for a rental up north. Despite the short notice, our host was very accommodating and gave us our getaway. The property is in a wonderful location and we felt at home immediately in the generously appointed lodging. One can't go wrong if one is looking for a relaxing vacation amid northern lower Michigan's beauty and offerings (wineries aplenty, and, you were right about the cinnamon twists and chocolate cake donuts at Barb's). Rent and relax. You won't regret it."

  • Great Family Vacation Place

"We just returned home from a weeks stay at this amazing house. We were a family of 3 generations and the house, lawn, lake and locations were great for all of us. There is so much to do in the area and at the house. The owners are very friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. The house had kayaks, canoes and plenty of lawn games for the kids to play. One of our favorites was the fire pit which we used to roast hot dogs and marshmallows on more than 1 occasion. We had a great time no one was ready to leave and we would love to return someday!!!"

  • Beach house is a darling 1940ish home very near every thing in Northport. Loved the setting.

"The cottage has been updated yet has kept its old fashioned integrity. Enough towels; new appliances; very clean. My only complaint is the downstairs bedroom mattress and bed was uncomfortable. My husband is disabled and he had to sleep downstairs. The bed was not great! The upstairs beds were very comfortable. All in all we had great weather- pleasant lodging and a lot of fun. Thank you!"
