  • Wonderful Family Spot!

"The house was clean, well maintained, beautiful landscaping, great backyard. With a family of children ages 6-18, the yard provided excellent play opportunities along with public waterfront and park in the front. The park/beach got very crowded, as would be expected, but we benefitted by having our boat in a protected slip in the marina just 100 yards away. The beds were very comfortable, the linens lovely and the kitchen well equipped. I would recommend this property to families who love to be outdoors, able to take advantage of the biking, boating, paddle boarding, and swimming. It is not at all private so don't rent if you are looking for a romantic getaway! Being able to walk to groceries, restaurants, ice cream and bakery were ideal. Thank you!"

  • Lovely home with perfect location

"We really enjoyed our time at this home. The property was exceptionally clean and well taken care of with everything you could want. The kitchen is large and very well furnished and the living spaces were very comfortable. The location of the property could not have been move perfect midway between Omena and Traverse City. We are keeping this listing for the future as we would not hesitate to stay again."

  • Beautiful view, great for kids!

"My family had a wonderful time at the blue cottage. The view from the deck is absolutely perfect, to the extent that all our planned activities went out the window and we mostly sat on the deck reading, playing cards, and chatting while the kids played in the sand. As mentioned by others, the beach proper has a lot of shells and is rocky, but that didn't stop the kids from swimming as much as possible. The water is nice and shallow. The cottage itself is cozy and fit our large family just fine. There was space inside for a play area for our toddler if we moved the couch around a bit, and the bunk bed room was great for the older kids (plenty of board games included). If you plan to do a lot of cooking, I recommend bringing some of your own kitchen knives and a large cutting board. Another big perk for us was the great tennis court, basketball hoop and playground down the road. It's a great spot and the tennis court is very well-kept. My dad was thrilled that there were pickleball lines included on the court. All in all, a great location, caring owners, and a fun place to visit with kids!"
