  • Returned for 4th year in a row - and loved it!

"This is our 4th year vacationing at this home, and we loved it! It's truly comfort: the kitchen is stocked with every need, the linen is quality, and the house is roomy. Our extended family range in ages from 5 years old to 76 years old; 17 people in all. The outdoor space offers hours of fun for all ages (swimming, beach toys, loungers, kayak, row boat, fish tackle, life jackets, hammack, and fire pit). And the views are AMAZING. It's worth getting up at 5:30 AM just to see the sun rise over the lake! The home owners have created a perfect space to relax, enjoy each other's company, and create new memories."

  • Very comfy and peaceful!!

"I enjoyed staying at the cottage, it was very quiet and peaceful. It was just what I needed and what I expected. It was well stocked and very clean, all we brought besides our clothes was food for the grill and drinks. The kayaks were fun and the water and weather was perfect. Although the water doesn't get deep for a long time and our kids just passed a swimming course, It would have been nice to have life jackets. But, being able to relax next to the fireplace or the bonfire was the best after a long day on the water. The price was right, and I will be reserving this again this summer, and will definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys peace and quiet!"

  • Family place away from it all

"We had a fabulous stay at the cabin with our 4 kids. This place is amazing! The pictures don't do justice to the custom craftsmanship in the house, bunkhouse, and barn. The cabin is equipped with anything you could possibly need - the kitchen is a cook's dream - the bunkhouse and barn add even more value. 3 kayaks and more bikes than I could count, a ping-pong table, board games, even a set of old school wooden blocks which my little boys loved. It's about a 15 minute drive to Northport, a quaint little town, and within an hour of Sleeping Bear dunes, Traverse City, Leland, Sutton's Bay so you can find plenty to do, see, and eat if you want to stay busy, or just chill at the house! Steve was great, quick to reply from our initial inquiry throughout our week-long stay."

  • Wonderful windy stay

"The cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway. The fire pit right on the water is the best combination of what northern Michigan has to offer."
