  • Family gathering

"This was the perfect place for my family to join together to celebrate my stepson's 30th birthday. He is from Colorado so I was excited to show him what northern Michigan has to offer. Him and his girlfriend, whom is from Columbia, truly enjoyed Northport and staying at this wonderful home. We had a total of 6 adults staying at the house and had plenty of space. Definitely will recommend staying here and I am hoping I will be able to in the future."

  • Returned for 4th year in a row - and loved it!

"This is our 4th year vacationing at this home, and we loved it! It's truly comfort: the kitchen is stocked with every need, the linen is quality, and the house is roomy. Our extended family range in ages from 5 years old to 76 years old; 17 people in all. The outdoor space offers hours of fun for all ages (swimming, beach toys, loungers, kayak, row boat, fish tackle, life jackets, hammack, and fire pit). And the views are AMAZING. It's worth getting up at 5:30 AM just to see the sun rise over the lake! The home owners have created a perfect space to relax, enjoy each other's company, and create new memories."

  • Family place away from it all

"We had a fabulous stay at the cabin with our 4 kids. This place is amazing! The pictures don't do justice to the custom craftsmanship in the house, bunkhouse, and barn. The cabin is equipped with anything you could possibly need - the kitchen is a cook's dream - the bunkhouse and barn add even more value. 3 kayaks and more bikes than I could count, a ping-pong table, board games, even a set of old school wooden blocks which my little boys loved. It's about a 15 minute drive to Northport, a quaint little town, and within an hour of Sleeping Bear dunes, Traverse City, Leland, Sutton's Bay so you can find plenty to do, see, and eat if you want to stay busy, or just chill at the house! Steve was great, quick to reply from our initial inquiry throughout our week-long stay."

  • Great House, Great Location

"My wife and I, our two adult daughters, their spouses and our two grandkids stayed at the Beach House for a week earlier this summer. The house is beautiful and comfortable and it has lots of bedrooms and a big kitchen. We spent a lot of time on the big front porch and ate our dinners together there each night! The backyard is big and very nice too. We set up our badminton net and a soccer net for the kids. The location of the house is fantastic; it is right across the street from the beach and marina and a couple of blocks from the grocery store, shops and restaurants. We like Northport because it isn't quite as busy and touristy as some of the other cities on the Leelanau Peninsula, yet is within reasonable driving distance if you want to take a road trip. We had such a good time we are renting the house again next summer!"
