  • Family place away from it all

"We had a fabulous stay at the cabin with our 4 kids. This place is amazing! The pictures don't do justice to the custom craftsmanship in the house, bunkhouse, and barn. The cabin is equipped with anything you could possibly need - the kitchen is a cook's dream - the bunkhouse and barn add even more value. 3 kayaks and more bikes than I could count, a ping-pong table, board games, even a set of old school wooden blocks which my little boys loved. It's about a 15 minute drive to Northport, a quaint little town, and within an hour of Sleeping Bear dunes, Traverse City, Leland, Sutton's Bay so you can find plenty to do, see, and eat if you want to stay busy, or just chill at the house! Steve was great, quick to reply from our initial inquiry throughout our week-long stay."

  • Clean and Peaceful!

"The house was clean, organized and modern just as advertised. It was also well supplied with all the comforts of home. The only bummer was that we weren't allowed to use the fireplace which had been one of the things we were looking forward to. The view was amazing and the neighborhood was very peaceful and serene! We did some wine tasting at nearby wineries and shopping in Suttons Bay. Thanks VRBO and home owners!"

  • Beautiful Location

"The location is absolutely beautiful. The house is very nice and open. The beach is literally right there and it was lovely. The only downsides were that you can smell the septic tank. Some days were worse than others but it is behind the house and probably needs to be emptied. It was definitely tolerable but something that was unpleasant when being right outside the house. All and all it was a great week!"

  • Beach house is a darling 1940ish home very near every thing in Northport. Loved the setting.

"The cottage has been updated yet has kept its old fashioned integrity. Enough towels; new appliances; very clean. My only complaint is the downstairs bedroom mattress and bed was uncomfortable. My husband is disabled and he had to sleep downstairs. The bed was not great! The upstairs beds were very comfortable. All in all we had great weather- pleasant lodging and a lot of fun. Thank you!"
