  • PERFECTLY PERFECT!!!

"We rented Pago for one week August 20-27. What a charming property! Ron and Andi are absolutely wonderful to work with. Pago, conveniently located, we were never without something to do or see. The house sits on a hill with just a few steps down to a wonderful sandy beach. On the first level, the house has beautiful (well varnished) hardwood floors and an amazing stone fireplace. We immediately fell in love when we opened the door and immediately saw nothing but beautiful blue waters of Lake Michigan! The screened in porch is beyond the large picture windows that line the whole wall of the living and dining room. The lower level is just as charming with tiled floors and fireplace. We had a fire the first night we arrived since it was quite chilly, and it was GREAT! The fire pit on the beach is perfectly located. Our mornings started out slow every day with a walk on the beach south, which is Conservancy property. Very private! Every day we enjoyed walking out to the point (to the south) to collect rocks. Crepe's at the Good Hart camping trailer are a MUST! Dinner at Leg's Inn in Cross Village is a MUST. Breakfast at the Old World Cafe is an ABSOLUTE MUST!!! The decor, service, and food are outstanding at Old World Cafe. We hope they offer a dinner service by next year. Daily visits to the local artist sanctuary in Cross Village is a TOTAL MUST!!! Three Pines Studio is AMAZING!!! You can buy art, look at art, or make art. Maddie is a textile painter and very informative. The owner, Gene, is a wealth of knowledge, and an amazing potter. The General Store-Marathon station in Cross Village is a good place to go for beverages, snacks, and some deli foods. The Curio shop across from Leg's Inn was a real treat because it has unique items from around the world. Very nice european toys for children. Pago is absolutely perfect in every way. I cannot think of one negative. The location is perfect, right off the Tunnel of Trees. The driveway is long, so you don't see the house from the road. If I had to make one request it is for a King size bed in the main floor bedroom, but the Queen size bed is certainly very comfortable. The furniture is all very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with nice dishes, pots, pans, pitchers, etc... We plan to return every year Ron and Andi will have us. Our son age 8 said, "I just want to sit here and think about this moment, because I love it here." PAGO IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Thank you, Ron and Andi"

"We decided to do a girls weekend her and had a great time!! The view is incredible! It had plenty of room for all of us! I love the convince of the market 22 across the street. We drove to Traverse on Saturday which was only a half hour away and it was a beautiful drive! We had dinner in Glen Arbor, went to the distillary, did some wine tasting etc.. We made a fire in the wood fireplace which was a great end to a very fun day!!"

  • Really nice comfortable house

"My daughter and my sister and I rented this house to be close to my brother who was having a reunion at his house so we actually spent very little time in the house. But we would have liked to. It was very clean. Very comfortable. Open space for family time and a nice yard for kids. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked great which was nice since we were there during a heat wave. Torch Lake and the surrounding towns are really special, very different from what we have in MD. I would highly recommend this house and the area for a vacation."

  • Memorial Day Perfection

"Stayed with family over the holiday weekend and was a first trip to Traverse City. Perfect location and central to town and tours and anything you needed. The condo had helpful books with information. The patio was wonderful to have coffee on in the morning. Condo was super clean and spacious. Great natural light and had everything you would need. The owner, Chris, was very helpful and she responded quickly as we booked with relatively short notice. I would certainly recommend this place to others and would go back in a heart beat. Thank you for a terrific"
