  • Our fifth year of visiting the farm!

"This is the fifth year we have stayed with the Slocombes, and we absolutely love this property! The grounds are lovely and beautifully landscaped, and the setting with all of the horses is gorgeous. The living space is clean, quiet, and lovingly decorated. The bed is memory foam and is very comfortable, and the couch is plush and wonderful for lounging. Jeff and Debbie are not only wonderful and attentive hosts but kind and generous people. They give you lots of space and privacy, but are there if you need something. The location really can't be beat, it's just about two minutes from Suttons Bay. If you'd like a calm, quiet vacation on picturesque farmland surrounded by beautiful horses in a peaceful and private location, then this is the place for you!"

  • Awesome location, lake, cottage!!!

"My husband, brother and sister-in law and I stayed over labor day weekend, 2015. The cottage was perfect for us. We loved it's close proximity to the water and how very peaceful the property is. We took advantage of the pontoon available even though we had brought jet skis with us. The boat launch is just down the road. Traverse City is a few minutes away with plenty of great restaurants and activities to enjoy. We enjoyed the nice sized deck all day long. In the afternoon it is shaded by the trees and is very comfortable even on a hot day. We will definitely return to this cottage!"

  • Loved the Cabin on the Creek!

"My family recently visited this wonderful cabin near Glen Arbor for a snowy President's weekend - we could not have had a better time! The extensive grounds, creek, nearby footbridge, and gorgeous snow made for a super-fun day sledding, hiking, and exploring - even in the single digit weather! Once back inside, we enjoyed every bit of the very warm and cozy cabin - including the fireplace, books to read, games to play, toys, wonderful winter décor, and marvelous wind chimes just outside the door... The cabin was so comfortable for us all, and we really appreciated being able to bring our (somewhat) new puppy along with us! As other reviewers have said, everything was clean and all of our needs were anticipated. Thanks so much for a great winter getaway - we're hoping to come see the cabin in the summer sometime!"
