  • Exactly what an upscale cottage should be

"This home was everything we hoped for. Less than 2 minutes from the village of Suttons Bay we were close to the main artery of the Leelenau Peninsula and had easy access. The home is situated right on Suttons Bay with beautiful views of the bay and sunsets every night. We had three different families travel to meet up for a vacation here and the layout of the home was perfect. A couple bedrooms on one side of the home with a bathroom then the other three bedrooms on the other side with another bathroom. The living area was large and spread out. Perfect for a large group. Something we really enjoyed here was all of the home's decor and history. The linens were high end and there was always a towel when needed. We made use of the washer/dryer for day to day things, very easy to use and in a convenient spot. The lounging area by the bay was also large with many chairs. We kayaked and swam everyday. While we miss there not being a beach as the water comes right up to the seawall it really didn't hinder our usage. The water is still shallow enough that our toddler grandson was able to play in the shallow water. The owner was readily available with any questions we had during our stay and left us ample information on the area in the house for our use. I highly recommend this home especially for a larger family gathering."

  • Idyllic Getaway

"We stayed at Century Farms in the stone cottage. It was an absolutely idyllic setting. Gorgeous landscape with views of orchards. Wonderful and charming accommodations with everything you need while taking you away from the bustle of everyday life. Loved the bathtub and the wood burning stove. Property owners are friendly and helpful, yet not intrusive. Setting is quiet, peaceful. A great central location for exploring Lelenau County and all the amazing sights the area has to offer. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!"

  • Clean and Comfortable

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was clean and comfortable. It was nice to be able to include our dog on our vacation, since the cottage is pet friendly. We utilized the kayaks and canoe and enjoyed spending time on the private beach across the street. We visited Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, the state park near Northport and downtown Suttons Bay. Our kids visited some of the wineries. We played some of the board games that were provided. We would have liked to play two additional ones, The Survival Game and Trivial Pursuit (DVD edition), but both of these were missing the cards needed to play them."

  • perfectly relaxing stay

"This cottage was delightful. Location is ideal: the bay off the deck, easy walking distance to town, a short block to the great biking Leelanau Trail. The house is well equipped, comfortable, and modernized in all the right ways (new bathrooms are great ). Owners easy to reach and good communicaters. Hope to stay here again!"
