  • Our fifth year of visiting the farm!

"This is the fifth year we have stayed with the Slocombes, and we absolutely love this property! The grounds are lovely and beautifully landscaped, and the setting with all of the horses is gorgeous. The living space is clean, quiet, and lovingly decorated. The bed is memory foam and is very comfortable, and the couch is plush and wonderful for lounging. Jeff and Debbie are not only wonderful and attentive hosts but kind and generous people. They give you lots of space and privacy, but are there if you need something. The location really can't be beat, it's just about two minutes from Suttons Bay. If you'd like a calm, quiet vacation on picturesque farmland surrounded by beautiful horses in a peaceful and private location, then this is the place for you!"

  • Memorable, quality accomodations

"Our group consisted of five adults from out of town staying here for a family member's memorial service. We loved relaxing in the warmth and comfort of such beauty. The beachfront view of the lake, the proximity of downtown Sutton's Bay and ease if getting to Traverse City were appreciated by our family. The home was not designed for five adults but it worked for us. The appliances were easy to use. There was no sugar, salt, or pepper so we had to buy some, but there was delicious coffee and green tea stocked. We paid extra for towel service that provided luxurious towels. The owners took great care to ensure our needs were met. We were very impressed."

  • What a great vacation!

"We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at this cottage! It was our first trip to the TC/Leelanau area, and the cottage met all of our needs. We have young children who enjoyed "their" very own private beach each day, while the adults could enjoy the peace and quiet of West Bay. The location is a convenient starting point to all the fun and activities in this area. Perfectly tucked half way between Traverse City and Suttons Bay. When we vacation in the area again, we will want to stay here!"

  • Everything you need and more....

"My family had an awesome time at Baylake Cottage, it was close to everything. Chris has the cottage well prepared for your visit. The weather was perfect and the sunrises were amazing down by the lake. There is plenty of room for everyone. Some of the places we went to: Sleepng Bear Dunes, Hop Lot Brewery (down the road), Wineries and Hansons Groceries has anything you forgot. There is plenty to do in this area. Enjoy your stay."
