  • Perfect place for a snowmobile family

"This place was a great end of day retreat after being on the trails all day. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals with lots of place setting to accommodate our group. Lots of clothes hanging places to dry wet apparel . The Bathrooms were exceptionally clean, and plenty of hot water. the whole house is very well maintained. Lots of parking area. (I had my truck and four place snowmobile trailer) and we could have had another truck and four place trailer parked in there. Best part about the parking area, no backing out! the TV and pool table were a nice addition. The only minor down side was that trail #3 was rerouted around Mohawk. so you have to drive about three blocks on the streets to get to the trail now. But with the Pull through parking not a big deal to trailer them to the trail. Over all this is a great place. We will using this house again."

  • Relaxing Lake House

"We stayed for several weeks and had a wonderful time. The great room is so bright and had a nice view of the lake and backyard. We enjoyed using the kitchen. Our toddler loved the apples from the apple tree and looking out for the bunnies that live on the property. We used the boat dock to go kayaking on the calm, beautiful lake. The house was clean and well supplied."

  • Private! Large! Clean! Fun!

"We had a terrific 4 night stay recently. We went with 4 adults, a two year old, and a Labradoodle. There was plenty of snow for outdoor activities, but if indoors relaxing is your thing, there is ample space and comfort in this home. There are plenty of photos on the website, but in my opinion they do not do this home justice. Two large tables at opposite ends of the home, the spa room, and extra porch with couch and twin bed in it, along with the "tv" room upstairs, which is really another huge quiet area to enjoy, added to the space available to "lose" yourself on your vacation. The views are awesome from every window. The spa room is really large and the tub itself is bigger than it looks in the photos. Each room has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The owner was available and personable, to communicate with when we had a question. I would love to revisit this property in the summer, it is very secluded and quite lovely. Don't hesitate to book this property, the area and surrounding towns are a lot of fun too! Don't miss Ambassador's in Houghton for pizza, KC Bonker's for coffee and interesting toys, and From the Past Antiques, both in Hancock. Enjoy!!"

  • Great Winter Escape

"Wonderful place to stay. You can stay inside and enjoy the incredible view or use it as a base camp for all to do in the Keweenaw - snow shoe, snowmobile, historical tour. Close to everything, but far enough from town to be secluded."
