  • Best Vacation Home for a Honeymoon!

"What a great vacation home! My husband and I came and stayed March 14-20, 2016 for our honeymoon. The house is amazing! High ceilings with big glass windows overlooking the lake frontage was a site every morning and evening. We had the pleasure of eating in and going out during our stay. The kitchen was beautiful and had everything needed to cook our meals. Our favorite features were the view out the master room doors in the morning at the lake, the views of the lake out of every room really...also the butler statue (he is sneaky). I personally enjoyed being so close to everything. Very short drives to go wine tasting, the casinos, downtown TC. Because we had chilly weather as expected this time of the year we didn't get to enjoy more outdoors...however Remember Your Spirit will be our first choice to come back and stay. Staying in a hotel is no longer an option when we enjoyed a full week of peace and serenity in this beautiful vacation home. Thank you for allowing us to pleasure of enjoying your home."

  • Family-Friendly, Perfect Location

"Had a wonderful stay with friends. Since we had a large group, we rented both houses. As our toddler was the only child in the group, this arrangement was perfect. He could go to bed in the guesthouse, and we didn't have to worry about disturbing him as we went about our evening activities. The amenities were superbly family-friendly as they included children's plates/cups/utensils, pack n plays in each cottage, booster chairs, a high chair, a closet full of toys, and (to my son's great, great delight) a sandbox and a slide!! The property was spacious and well laid-out for our large group, so we enjoyed just relaxing and hanging out as well as heading out for day trips to the many nearby sights and activities. I would highly recommend this property to singles and families alike!"

  • Cozy and Beautiful

"My husband and I came up here for a getaway for our 25th Anniversary. We loved it. The pictures does not do it justice. It was very clean and had all the conveniences of home. It is a 30 minute drive to Traverse City, but it is well worth being here on the lake. To watch the sunrise and set either sitting in the living room or on the porch. You can sleep on the enclosed porch or relax with a good book. There is a screened in porch in back where you can sit and relax. We were fortunate to have come when the weather was picture perfect the entire time for this time of year. I was in contact with the owner John and he sent me places to go eat and a winery to visit. If you are looking for someplace to get away from it all and relax, rent this cottage. We look forward to coming back again as we visit Traverse City and the area at least once a year. But staying here, we may plan to make it two trips a year. The owner is very friendly and answered all my questions."

  • Wonderful stay in TC!

"Beautiful condo. Fantastic location. Kind and responsive owners. We received an email from Jim after returning home from our stay. Unbeknownst to us, our son had forgotten his wallet in the condo, and Jim not only brought it to our attention, but also took the initiative to return it to us without charge. Overall, a great place to stay in TC!"
