  • A great home to stay in

"My extended family and I stayed at Marian's old centennial farm house. There were four adults and two children and we comfortably fit in this great home. Marian was very attentive to all communication and we had a great time taking the boat and kayaks out on the lake and exploring the beautiful Traverse City area. Highly recommended!"

  • Exactly what we wanted ...

"I was looking for simple accommodation in downtown TC after a family sailing trip. We were able to bike to the beach, around TC, to the TART trails and pretty much anywhere else we wanted. The owner was really organized and everything went very smoothly. The unit had the key in a lock box on the front door so we could let ourselves in when we arrived, it was very clean and comfortable, parking was easy in the nearby garage (we were able to park the car in the alley to load and unload) and affordable. It's a really a good unit if you are planning on doing outdoor's stuff most of the time and just need a place to prepare meals and sleep. (Although my internet addicted children did praise the high quality WIFI)."

  • Wonderful relaxing lakeside retreat

"We had a wonderful stay at the cabin for 1 week in September. The property is on a gorgeous lake and the home is absolutely amazing. The home is newly renovated with high end updates. The home is more than adequate and beautifully decorated. The home is well stocked with anything one could need for a vacation ( including shampoo, conditioner, body soaps, etc). The owner and caretaker are very responsive and attentive to your needs. I would not hesitate to return or to highly recommend this gorgeous home in beautiful surroundings. It is apparent a lot of work and care goes into this retreat. Trust me, it would be hard to be disappointed or to find something similar to lakemore. Nothing short of spectacular at 5 stars +."

  • Best House on Long Lake

"I have vacationed each year in this house since 2002. This is the first year of the new owners. They have gone into this big comfortable home and started changing things to make it even more beautiful and more comfortable. You wont believe the view of the lake from each window facing the lake...sunrises are amazing. We have always enjoyed watching the yellow plane land on the lake almost every day. I especially love the kitchen, its large enough for more than one or two cooks. As for the new owners, they are so nice to work with, i had a problem with the cable and Tom was nice enough to call the cable company and have them walk me through getting the problem fixed. This house is close to Traverse City (about 10 min.)where you will find some really great shopping and restaurants. So many things close by to do, like visiting the vineyards, Glen Arbor for the Cherry Republic, Empire to watch the sunset over Lake Michigan, Northport for the Grand Traverse Lighthouse.. If you are looking for a fun place with a great location on the lake, this is the house to choose."
