  • Beautiful property in lovely location

"This house is very well appointed and tastefully decorated. It is located directly onto the lake with its own bathing platform and pier. It even has play equipment for the children. We had the downstairs bedroom with a very comfy bed. Although the upstairs bed was ok, it was rather squeaky. the kitchen is very well equipped, although we Brits, missed the kettle. Yes, we do drink tea all the time. Overall, we would recommend this house to other families, although if you have robust children, you may feel anxious about keeping the pale carpeting in a good condition."

  • Great updated home in Elk Rapids; comfortable accommodations for our group of 9.

"My sister's family and I rented this home for our vacation in Elk Rapids this year. Our group of 9 had plenty of room to spread out. This is a lovely updated home. It was clean and had all of the amenities of being "at home." We had a lovely time and we had great weather all week long. The house is not located in the village, but still within 15 minute walking distance to Dam Beach and town and near the market."

  • Wonderful!!

"The cottage was lovely and very comfortable. We had fun exploring the lake on our rented pontoon boat. Loved the lake. The only problem was the many stairs. They were a bit tough on this old lady! 😳"

  • Wonderful, upscale, newly rebuilt cottage on a terrific lake!

"We stayed at this cottage on Green Lake in late July of 2016. Green Lake is a marvelous, clear, and beautiful 2,000 acre lake about 20 minutes south of Traverse City, Michigan. The lake is lightly used by cottage owners and there was never more than two or three boats on the lake at one time during our stay. This cottage is on the peninsula in the middle of the lake. It is west facing and gets terrific daytime sun and also is in a great position for seeing beautiful sunsets as it faces west. The cottage is only steps from the water, which is clear and has a sandy beach suitable for our four year old grandson to swim in. Even 150' off shore the water was only up to his shoulders. Very nice for kids. The rest of us enjoyed swimming, too! The cottage itself is wonderful. Rebuilt within the last few years, it is very upscale and spacious. The photos accurately depict the home, although one thing they don't highlight is that the rooms have nine foot ceilings, which makes them much more spacious. The master bedroom on the first floor has it's own full attached bath, as well as a doorwall facing the lake and outside deck. It has a queen bed with a very comfortable and very lightly used (new?) mattress. The room is quite large. There is a living room with a three person sofa, a two person love seat, a full sized chair and an Ikea rocking chair. as well as a couple of end tables. Not cramped at all. Very spacious. A gas fire place with field stone exterior is on one wall. The windows are very wide and provide great views of the lake. A full kitchen with recently purchased appliances, granite counter tops, large pantry, two person eating peninsula leads into a dining area with a table that seats six easily. It also opens up via a door wall to the outside deck, which has a dining table with umbrella, beach chairs, etc. A brick paver patio with a charcoal grill is outside as well. There is a den with a sleeper sofa and television which is off the entrance hall. Cable TV, wireless internet, it's all there. A half bath is also off the entrance hall. Upstairs is a bedroom with a full sized bed and another bedroom with two twins. Both rooms face the lake with pretty and wide windows. A large full bath is upstairs as well. The house has central air, too, which is nice for the hot humid days of summer that often are found even in northern Michigan. Held our family of 6 easily, and cold accommodate eight persons no problem. Nice place!"
