  • Absolutely gorgeous and tranquil!!

"Upon entering the long driveway to Deerpath, the anticipation and excitement of our family grew. Then, when we came through the clearing and the house appeared, we were instantly blown away. The house is much more grand and beautiful than any pictures could ever convey. The property sits on a very private lot. The house was spotless and very well maintained. We had 9 family members staying in the home total and it accommodated us perfectly. There was plenty of room to move around in the house, so we did not bump into each other and plenty of space for the kids to run around and play both inside and outside of the home. We utilized the bonfire pit and roasted marshmallows a few nights. Having two kitchens was lovely and very useful. We were able to cook a very large family meal for our extended family in Michigan. We certainly utilized ever single square inch of that home and property; we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it and would highly recommend the home to friends and family in the future. We do have plans on coming back next year. We were also able to explore the surrounding Elberta, Frankfort and Traverse City areas. We spent a day exploring Frankfort, swimming at the Frankfort beach and Betsie Lighthouse beach. We spent another day swimming at the Elberta beach; which we would highly recommend. The view is spectacular and the beach is very private, however, it's a public beach. We spent two days exploring Traverse City. One day shopping and another day just walking downtown. We also HIGHLY recommend visiting Cherry Republic. It was the childrens' favorite part of our vacation. The cherry wine, cherry soda and cherry ice cream were all hits among our family. Overall, this was one of the best vacations we have ever been on. It was peaceful, relaxing, serene and action packed all at the same time. So much to do and so much beaty to explore in "Pure Michigan"!"

  • Perfect for the whole family

"What a great place to stay!! Clean, well maintained, and well stocked. Everyone was very comfortable. Short walk to the ski hills which we did but there were also passes for the shuttle if needed. We all loved the "old school" games that were available for us to use - kids had a great time playing those as opposed to thumbing their phones. Owners could not have been more accommodating. Loved it!!"

  • Nice home, beautiful yard

"This house fit our family's needs perfectly. We visit Crystal Lake every summer for a family reunion in August. While we spend most of the days down the road from this house, we always look to rent a house for sleeping and hosting a dinner or two. The lication worked, the bedrooms worked, and we had a great time."

  • Perfect vacation cottage

"Wonderful cottage with private beach. Clean comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a new gas grill on the deck. The sunsets every evening were gorgeous. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. We would love to return."
