  • Phenomenal location for family reunion.

"Cottage was clean with inviting rooms to a safe, kid friendly beach. Outdoor living at it's finest. Great patio area, fire pit, bar b que and outdoor games. Huge refrigerator for beverages by the sunroom. Owner was very conscientious of accommodating us. Cottage was a little funky but that added to the casual ambiance for our get together. We would have liked a better shower facility-even an enclosed outside shower for guests to clean-up before they went home. We were disappointed that the paddle boat and shuffle board were inoperative. I am very happy that we were able to get this cottage for our family reunion. Thank you David and Missy."

  • Relaxing Vacation with our Large Family.

"Our large family, of up to 18 at times, enjoyed a week at the Hemlock Lake House. We came prepared with all our own linens as necessary for the rental. We used the washer and dryer multiple times every day and they worked great. The kitchen was stocked wonderfully for a large group with plenty of everything. There was a good variety of cooking pots large and small, large bowls, and plenty of utensils. Your pancake griddle was very useful and worked wonderfully. The house came with a nice supply of indoor and outdoor games and puzzles. We were also very excited by the supply of kayaks large and small and other boats that were at the house for our use. Your pier for the boats was just right and we enjoyed swimming in the water in front of the house and floating on our rafts. The lake was great with the time in the morning and evening for calmer waters. We spent a lot of time exploring the lake at all hours. I think my favorite was at 10 pm just staring up at the stars. The selection of life preservers was much more thorough then I expected with adult and youth jackets. There was also plenty of outdoor chairs on upper and lower deck areas. I would be happy to share your property info with any of my friends who are interested in renting your house. My husband and I, and our boys on their sleeping bags, enjoyed the master bedroom. The view was great and my husband had a very good pair of noise cancelling headphones that let him go to bed at 10:00 and not be bothered by the games and talk that were going on below. We used all the types of beds except for the pull out couch and they were good. Your house is beautiful and we enjoyed reading your families history that is framed by the door. What a blessed story."

  • great for Michigan football weekend

"House was clean, organized, with everything you would need for a fall Michigan football weekend. Ravi was very response to phone calls and emails. The kitchen is well stocked as well so that's something we were able to take advantage of. Plenty of outdoor space as well, including a basketball court and a secluded field. I don't have kids but would be convenient for your little ones to play (and safe!)."

  • Great memories were made here!

"Overall well equipped house with plenty of towels and good hot water supply. The lake was clean and almost like bath water. We had two boats tied to the dock where the water is sandy and shallow. Plenty of room for our two kayaks and blow up floats. Parking can be a challenge when having guests but Diane is very gracious by offering parking at the Chemung market. The market was close and convenient to pick up ice and other supplies. There is a Meijers grocery not too far for your major grocery runs. The kitchen is brand new with new appliances too. It just needs a couple more items to have it fully equipped (such as a cookie sheet, 9x13 baking pan, Tupperware). Also if you're used to a softer mattress you should bring a foam topper as the bed's are very firm. The entire home has beautiful wood floors but could use more rugs at the doors to wipe of wet bare feet. We had a couple of babies visit and was surprised to find a crib and high chair to use. Also a supply of games and even Legos were available. We will definetly be back again as it was so close to our family and friends who live near by. The only thing I would have changed about our trip was to have had a little warmer weather! Thank you! Dave and Rosemarie Sicheneder"
