  • Perfect!

"I love this area of Michigan, the chain of lakes is awesome and this cabin puts you right there. Clean and the owners were responsive and easy to get a hold of when we had questions. Highly recommend!"

  • Paradise and freedom

"We spent 3 days with friends adults and kids. The house is gorgeous, very comfortable with a lot of space to allow everybody feel at home. The swimming pool is huge and we all spent time there also. Jim provided with all the information and was always happy to help with questions about the area. We can't wait to renew the experience as we really found a peacefull, beautifull and well equiped house to stay. Dalila Abgrall"

  • Perfect holiday great location

"Three adults (family) stayed at the house. The whole process of booking and getting access to the property went smoothly. We found it to be just as described with the most beautiful view over the lake. We used the two bedrooms overlooking the lake - there was also another double bedroom and bunks for children which we did not use. The house was well heated, given the extremely cold temperatures (almost reached 0 deg F), and the WiFi internet connection was extremely good - both very important. Also plenty of hot water. There are 2 nice bathrooms and plenty of towels. Cooking facilities were adequate and a big refrigerator. We also used the washer and dryer. Everything worked. There is also a TV room and sofa upstairs and a sitting area and eating area downstairs. Our friends who came to visit thought it was an excellent find! It really was. The owner is a wonderful man who brought round a hairdryer which I had forgotten to bring. It is unusual to have absolutely no complaints... but I don't have any! The little town of Chelsea is nearby which has a great restaurant (The Common Grill), lovely little shops, nice coffee place (ZouZous) and a wonderful public library. Also the supermarket in Chelsea is quite big and is open until late. Ann Arbor is only 30 minutes drive and also a lovely university town - enjoyed the shopping and university grounds. Detroit is 1 hour drive with the Henry Ford museum. So, the perfect getaway in beautiful surroundings with access to great places nearby. Would love to come and stay for a summer vacation so that we can also make use of the terrace and the lake. Definitely recommended!"
