  • Lovely setting on a very peaceful and serene lake

"The lake house was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable and is very well equipped with nice kitchen, bathroom and bedroom items. It is at the end of Little Stoney Lake Road and therefore there is no auto traffic whatsoever. A very peaceful, tranquil and beautiful setting. It is located within minutes of several grocery stores, making it convenient if one needs to run to the store for anything. Several family members visited at various times and the home is perfect for entertaining family and friends. We absolutely loved the place and hope to return next year and for many years thereafter."

  • Very secluded and relaxing!

"The property was amazing. It was very secluded and you could not really see the homes of neighbors while on the property. All of the other homes seemed pretty close together, but this one had plenty of space and shade. Which was nice because we had plenty of room for outdoor activities. The home was very large and perfect for adults and children of all ages. The kitchen was nice and had everything that we needed to prepare meals while there. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and catching fish off the dock. They actually got some pretty big ones. The owner of this rental was very easy to work with as well. He answered all of my questions and I talked to him numerous times before our stay. We lost power on the first night there for a couple hours and he returned our call late at night to let us know who the power company was and we were the first to report the outage. It was only off for a couple hours. He then called me the next morning to apologize for the inconvenience (though it was clearly not his fault) and make sure that it got turned back on and everything was okay. Would definitely recommend this property, especially for larger families who want a relaxing and secluded stay!"

  • Great house for Christmas.

"Great holiday home! The owners decorated for Christmas, including a tree, which made our stay extra special. The house is much lovelier than the pictures portray; the layout is spacious and the cathedral ceilings make it perfect fora large gathering. The bedrooms are spread out for privacy, and there were plenty of linens. Very well equipped kitchen -- and all with a lake view. Convenient to Ann Arbor, with lots of fun eating & shopping. We enjoyed our stay very much."

  • Phenomenal location for family reunion.

"Cottage was clean with inviting rooms to a safe, kid friendly beach. Outdoor living at it's finest. Great patio area, fire pit, bar b que and outdoor games. Huge refrigerator for beverages by the sunroom. Owner was very conscientious of accommodating us. Cottage was a little funky but that added to the casual ambiance for our get together. We would have liked a better shower facility-even an enclosed outside shower for guests to clean-up before they went home. We were disappointed that the paddle boat and shuffle board were inoperative. I am very happy that we were able to get this cottage for our family reunion. Thank you David and Missy."
