  • Very clean and relaxing

"the cabin was very clean and the owners very friendly. We fished off the dock and out of the boat they provided. the deck was relaxing to sit on in the morning and evening. We were able to see a doe and her two fawns out in the yard almost every day. I was very quiet and relaxing. There was a fully stocked kitchen, and we cooked our own meals. The only thing I wish they had was a DVD player to watch movies in the evening, although we did venture to the movie theater in Stergis, MI (4 miles away) It was quaint and quite enjoyable!"

  • Great for a weekend getaway

"My friends and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend and had the best time. The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and cute, and an easy walk into town. The weather was beautiful so we spent all day outside and in the lake. The kitchen is huge and accommodated all 7 of us girls perfectly. We ate at home the majority of the weekend using the grill and kitchen appliances. The town is V small and V quiet, but that could have been because of the holiday weekend. Everyone we came in contact with was v nice though. There is a small grocery store right outside of town, but try to go the Meijer or Walmart in Sturgis, much better selection. We would definitely come back and would recommend for any group of 20-somethings looking for a fun but relaxing weekend. Also, we loved Curlys and Palmer Lake Lodge where we rented a pontoon for a couple hours."

  • Great Place To Spend A Week

"My family spent the week here during the week of May 19-26. We had a great time! The days started with watching the sun rise over the lake. This was followed by either a kayak or pontoon ride taking off from the dock just feet away from the back door. Although we didn't fish, many people were catching bluegill, bass, and perch. The cottage is 15 minutes from Shipswanna where you can enjoy visiting many Amish stores. The streets are shared by both automobile and Amish buggies. There is also a VERY large flea market which opens Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There are many activities around the cottage as well including an Amish "Safari" where you can pet and feed both farm animals and exotic animals. It was fun for the entire family. The days usually ended with a fire in the awesome fire pit overlooking the lake.We plan on returning several times this Summer."

  • Coldwater Cottage

"We had a great time in Coldwater. The cottage is adorable and as pictured. It was a perfect set up for 2 families with 5 kids total. Having 3 bathrooms was wonderful and the bedroom set up was perfect for us. The inside is cozy and cute - a perfect cottage in my opinion. We also enjoyed having a bon fire outside in the snow! I have to imagine renting in the summer would be even better with the waterfront! We would recommend renting and would return in the future!"
