  • Relaxing!

"A beautiful cozy home nestled on a small quaint island. This lake home was perfect for our family of 5. We enjoyed the water fun of boating. The Marina is a quick trip and full of the friendliest natives. The water traffic was minimal and all 3 children learned to water ski and had fun tubing. We even enjoyed an earlier eveming kayak ride with the owners kayaks. The fishing was plentiful both from the boat and the dock. The biggest bass was caught sitting at end of the dock! The water is clear and clean. The home was well decorated, clean and stocked with everything we needed. We ate at home every meal. The sunsets from the deck are breathtaking as the A frame is located on the best side of the island. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. Karen and Kevin are attentive and informative. Thank you both for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!"

  • Cute and Comfy

"We've stayed several times at this cute and comfortable cabin since 2012, and enjoy it every time. It fits our needs very well, and we enjoy watching the ducks and geese from the deck with our coffee in the morning and the gorgeous sunsets in the evening. There are shops for essentials nearby, including a wonderful place to get just- picked fruit and vegetables, and a really nice espresso cafe in Three Rivers."

  • Wonderful Rental!

"We had an awesome time in this rental. We stayed in early May, and although the weather wasn't all that warm (or sunny), it didn't dampen our time. The home is fully stocked with everything, and anything, you'd need for a wonderful stay (games, fishing equipment, yard chairs by the dozen, a fire pit, a great pier for fishing, and so much more . The yard is large and spacious and the fenced yard was a HUGE bonus because we were traveling with our dog. We rented a pontoon one day and the marina is walking distance away and the pontoon was in tip-top shape. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you'll need (minus food), but the appliances (including the grill) are in fine working order. Local food shopping is limited so plan accordingly and bring your items as you see fit. We brought many frozen items (which worked as ice on our travels) and then ate them through the week as needed. There are plenty of small but tasty food joints in the area which we enjoyed as well. Close to forest preserves, casinos, antiquing, and many of Michigan's quaint lake towns. We could not have been happier with our stay, and would definitely recommend this property to anyone interested in a great location and a very reasonable price!"

  • Fun lake house

"16 of our family members gathered at the lake house for a fun week on Stone Lake. The home is very well designed, decorated, and equipped with most everything you could possibly want/need. Although one family member brought his power boat, we also rented the boat package. The pontoon boat was used every day. We anchored it out in the lake, and used it as our floating swim dock. The young children spent hours wading along the shore, catching minnows and frogs. Because the game room is situated away from the sleeping areas, it was never a problem with noise, even though it was often used.late into the night. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the extra refrigerator in the game room was great to have, because we shopped at Costco on our way to the house and it had plenty of room for our groceries for the week. We ate dinner every evening out on the deck at the big table. Many of our family members hiked the trails that wandered thru the 47 acres, and we picked up kindling from the nearby woods for our gathering around the fire pit to roast marshmallows and tell stories.over the last 15 years, I have rented 20+ vacation properties from VRBO, and I have to say that Ted was the most attentive owner I have ever dealt with. He is genuinely commited to helping you have a wonderful time while staying in their home. We hope to return sometime in the next few years. Thanks, Ted and Brenda"
