  • Perfect place for ND Football Weekends

"I recently stayed at Winding Waters with my 3 sons for an ND football weekend. It was fantastic! Carl and Lori are incredible hosts and their house is immaculate. We were extremely comfortable in their house and Carl and Lori did everything they could do help us the entire weekend. The beds are comfortable, the house is in a great location and the breakfast was awesome. We will definitely be staying there again for future trips to ND."

  • An excellent place to stay for a vacation or Notre Dame game

"We stayed at the blue cottage this past weekend because we needed a place that would accommodate four adults and three large dogs over the Notre Dame football weekend. I stayed back at the cottage to babysit the dogs while the others went to the game. Although it could have been boring to stay behind, I enjoyed a very relaxing day at the cottage. The dogs and I spent time on the deck, looking out at the pretty lake and enjoying the sunny weather. We took walks and jogged around the neighborhood. The Internet connection was good and they had cable. If we had more time, we could have taken one of the boats out on the lake. The house was charming and super clean. The kitchen has a gas stove and is stocked with dishes and pots and pans etc. The master bedroom and nicely sized bathroom is on the first floor. Two bedrooms (one with bunk beds) are upstairs. We ordered pizza from a very nice local place and if we had time, would have tried some of the restaurants that are nearby (Cams and Fireside). We enjoyed having drinks on the deck in the evening. The owners ask that you clean before leaving, which we (mainly my daughter) did, and she received her cleaning deposit back on the same day that we checked out. We agreed that we will stay at the blue cottage the next time we go to ND to see a game. Thanks so much to the owners for our great weekend. 😀"

  • Wonderful Rental!

"We had an awesome time in this rental. We stayed in early May, and although the weather wasn't all that warm (or sunny), it didn't dampen our time. The home is fully stocked with everything, and anything, you'd need for a wonderful stay (games, fishing equipment, yard chairs by the dozen, a fire pit, a great pier for fishing, and so much more . The yard is large and spacious and the fenced yard was a HUGE bonus because we were traveling with our dog. We rented a pontoon one day and the marina is walking distance away and the pontoon was in tip-top shape. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you'll need (minus food), but the appliances (including the grill) are in fine working order. Local food shopping is limited so plan accordingly and bring your items as you see fit. We brought many frozen items (which worked as ice on our travels) and then ate them through the week as needed. There are plenty of small but tasty food joints in the area which we enjoyed as well. Close to forest preserves, casinos, antiquing, and many of Michigan's quaint lake towns. We could not have been happier with our stay, and would definitely recommend this property to anyone interested in a great location and a very reasonable price!"

  • Great Stay!

"Sandra was great to work with. We really enjoyed our stay at the lake. Everything you need is there, well stocked even a lot of "extras" you don't usually see in rentals. Looking forward to our next stay!"
