"What a wonderful little gem! A FANTASTIC view of blue Lake Michigan! Very clean. Beautiful landscaping. The large front yard was great for playing games (they have yard games available) or just catch. Beautiful sunsets! Great location as it is near several fun areas - South Haven, Holland, Saugatuck/Douglas. This was a trip with adult family members. Our only regret is that we didn't get to spend more time with the owner - a truly sweet woman (we didn't get to meet her husband, who I am sure is great too!). She gave us EXCELLENT dining recommendations, and is a wonderful source of information, so please, talk with her! We will make the trek from West Virginia again - it is worth it!"

  • Ladies kayak club

"What a fabulous place for a ladies weekend! We rented all 3 floors and were not disappointed. Having the kitchens available for breakfasts was time saving. At dinner we walked downtown to several restaurants - Casa is great Mexican and the Tavern was perfect for burgers and comedy night. The Asylum's location was ideal for our large group to split up for ice cream or shop after the day's paddle. Not one of the 13 women were disappointed with the Asylum... beds were comfortable and the place is very well kept. The kayaking was wonderful on both Lake Michigan and the river. Looking forward to a return trip! The Kayaker Konnection Where Women Rule the Waves"

  • Relaxing Getaway

"I spent 5 nights at the cottage and had such a relaxing, wonderful stay. The cottage was very clean and updated and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Days were sunny and I enjoyed the beach every day. Nights were quiet, with beautiful sunsets. I loved the owner's beautiful surroundings and she even gave me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from her garden. I enjoyed the restaurants and antique shops in both South Haven and Saugatuck, too."

  • A cozy two story house in a secluded wooden area, nice large layout and lots of windows.

"Large bedrooms, large eating area and open kitchen and living room. Great view to the wooded back yard and a large deck with a hot tub. Clean and tidy. Kitchen had everything you need. Came here for a girls weekends, conveniently located to wineries and shopping. The private beach area was great for sunsets. I would definitely stay here again."
