  • Great cottage on a nice lake. Very comfortable and clean.

"Pontoon worked out great for fishing and swimming. Couple of days we were only ones on lake tubing and sking. Kids enjoyed the kayaks as wells. Stayed Aug 2016 Mark"

  • Cute and Comfy

"We've stayed several times at this cute and comfortable cabin since 2012, and enjoy it every time. It fits our needs very well, and we enjoy watching the ducks and geese from the deck with our coffee in the morning and the gorgeous sunsets in the evening. There are shops for essentials nearby, including a wonderful place to get just- picked fruit and vegetables, and a really nice espresso cafe in Three Rivers."

  • Fantastic getaway!

"My husband and I along with our two dogs immensely enjoyed our 3 night stay. The cottage is comfortable, tastefully decorated and I don't know who is the cook in the family but they are my culinary soulmate-I travel with 3 types of salt including my truffle salt-so any home that is well stocked, has a decanter and aerator (we travel with ours just in case) is the place for us. We loved the lock gate system, dogs enjoyed the decks without issue. They LOVED the beach and even swam some. It's in a quiet, bosky and beautiful dead end street that adds to the bucholic charm. This was a stunning Autumn getaway that is such a quick 2 hour drive from Chicago. We really enjoyed following the food resource guide and went to local farms to purchase eggs, honey, produce and of course needed a pie. Don't try to get milk directly from a farmer-you need to be part of a herd share to do that in Michigan! A bit of food snubs, needed something to match our Gamay Noir, Oregon Pinot Noirs and Portuguese wine varieties and we found everything needed around. We enjoyed cooking in its nicely appointed kitchen. The garden is on a slope and we for one are thankful for it-after 15 min every few hours of active Jack Russell play, the dogs were tired. We enjoyed the personal touches that the Kins' placed in it-including pics of what I assume are places they have been, which turned out have been places we too have been. After traveling 65 countries and 245 cities around the world, we have focused mostly this year in the US. I say that only because we appreciated all the luxury comforts of the cottage and it's beautiful setting. This may have to be the dogs' annual fall getaway. We will highly recommend!"

  • Great House and SOOOOOOO relaxing!

"What a wonderful house and beautiful lake. Although we went late in the year we were able to fish and golf. Loved eating our meals and look at the lake. The house was very nice and had everything we needed. Jim the owner was very helpful, even came over and built a fire so we could be cozy and watch the Cubs in the playoff games. Town is very quaint and has great restaurants. Had a wonderful time and look forward to going back."
