  • Wonderful Family Get-away Spot

"My sister was coming to the area to spend some time with our family of four and this was the perfect spot for a short get-away trip. The cottage feels like home because it is so well stocked with everything you would need to make meals at home, barbecue, play indoor and outdoor games, relax at the beach, enjoy the hot-tub, and more. It really has everything you need for an easy-to-plan vacation. There was a local super-market for those things we forgot to pack and the beach was close enough to be able to pop back-and-forth. We have come back to this spot twice now and it is quickly becoming a favorite family tradition."

  • Excellent Cottage, R & R to the MAX!

"I'm going to make this short and sweet. If you want to get away to a beautiful, clean cottage, nestled in a wooded wonderland with LARGE observation windows to watch nature and enjoy what a true escape really means, your endless search is over, RENT THIS PROPERTY! My 2 year old twins celebrated their 2 year Birthday at the cottage, we enjoyed every minute here! Owner is kind, helpful and very responsive and his taste in fusing rustic with modern finishes within is awesome! Thanks Paul, we look forward to returning to escape the hustle and bustle of city life SOON!"

  • Great Week at Lake Michigan

"We (grandparents, children, and young ones) rented both cottages for a week in June. We enjoyed having the eight bedrooms, four bathrooms, two separate living areas, and two kitchens. The pool was a big plus for young and old and we spent a lot of time there. The private beach was quite and pleasant, and we had plenty of chairs and umbrellas to take with us from the cottages. The sunsets at the beach (and we made them all) were magnificent, as good as the ones in Key West. Another big plus is the number of locally owned restaurants and shops. Also, the weather is fantastic with moderate temperatures and low humidity. Finally, we experienced great fishing. Recommend that you try this place out; Frank will take care of you."

  • Essence of Michigan Summer

"This was our first time at Rose Hill Cottage, though we had been coming to the Union Pier Area for many years. The cottage is very comfortably furnished, impeccably clean and more spacious than the pictures indicate. Our six-person family had plenty of space and privacy. For us the very well equipped kitchen was also a big draw -- we cooked, baked and barbecued every night. The area is quiet and beautiful -- the beach is close enough to hear the surf at night. We are definitely coming back!"
