  • First Time Holland Renters

"This was the first time my family and I decided to rent a cottage in Holland for the week. The location of the cottage, on the northern bluff overlooking Lake Macatawa and walking distance to Lake Michigan, is very convenient. One can walk to the beach, the General Store, nearby restaurants, and to a boating dock down the road for kayaking or paddle boarding. The bike trail passes in front of the cottage if you want to bike around the area. The cottage itself is very clean and stocked with almost everything you will need. The decor and look of the 1890's-built house adds to the feel of "going back to a simpler more relaxed time". The view from the screened-in porch is perfect for morning coffee. Jim (the landlord) is only two doors down and always available if we had any questions or needed anything. I would definitely stay here again and may consider this the start of an annual tradition."

  • Perfect for Groups of All Ages!

"The view of Spring Lake from the front porch of this home is fantastic. Sit and enjoy the sound of the water as you sip your morning cup of coffee. The bike\walking path is so close be sure to bring your bike when staying here. The beach will provide you with many hours of water fun and because Spring Lake is an inland lake it is much warmer than Lake Michigan. Don't miss Lake Michigan during your stay in the area though. The home is a perfect vacation home with a lot of bedrooms and big kitchen for when you don't want to go to a local restaurant. Our group took advantage of a local fishing charter and caught many huge salmon and trout. Nothing like grilled fresh fish. Many golf courses close by and don't miss the Village Baker restaurant just a 7 minute walk from this house. Our group decided to have breakfast there every morning. The house was very clean and has a washer and dryer and a garage for your car and bikes Our group of 10 had no issues with the internet service The owners were very accommodating and returned our call promptly when we had a question. I plan to rent this home again in the future."

  • Very nice

"The apartment has high ceilings and lots of light. It's close to everything, and cozy. However There were no towels when I arrived. The owner dropped some off immediately After I called them, which is good. The place was a bit dusty, but the kitchen And tv are nice and big."

  • Outstanding Vacation Rental

"This vacation rental was more than the listing could have prepared us for. From the quality furniture to the amount of seating, we couldn't have been more comfortable. The open layout was my favorite part of the home. The way that everyone could be together and never feel crowed was just incredible! I loved the wonderful decor of this place, really cool!! Our host Mark had done an outstanding job of having it all. We felt no need for anything. In fact we preferred hanging out at the home, deck and boat more than visiting area attractions . Thank you Mark for allowing our family to make lasting memories in your fabulous home on the lake."
