  • Great Time!

"My family and I spent a week at this cottage. We had a great time! Perfect house for large families. Deck over looking the water is amazing! Would definitely stay there again. We had people of all ages with us and the house was perfect for everyone."

  • Excellent Family Get Away

"This vacation cottage was great for the whole family. The owners are extremely nice and were very helpful throughout our whole stay. The water accessibility was the highlight of our trip, we were rarely inside. Tubing, skiing, fishing and other water activities kept us busy the entire time. The rather large yard was a great place to relax during the day and sit around a bonfire at night. My family and I loved staying here and are planning to return again next summer. With the bedrooms, pull-out couches and cots, this property slept our family of 6 comfortably and could have easily slept 2 additional people. I would recommend this cottage to any small family looking for a simple yet fun vacation for everyone to enjoy."

  • Everything we could want in a vacation rental

"Our family (4 adults and 3 kids) stayed here for a full week during the summer and really enjoyed ourselves. The description on VRBO is quite accurate. The house is large and airy and in excellent condition. The master bedroom was delightful with high ceilings and a private deck. The master bathroom is worth the price of admission all by itself. It has a huge shower with a bench and two shower heads. There is also a jacuzzi tub! The living room is large with two sofas (with built-in recliners) and a third stand-alone recliner. It has a new large TV with an internet connection (netflix) and wifi. The furnishings are very comfortable. The air conditioning made Lake Paw Paw especially pleasant in the summer heat. We slept four adults and three children here very comfortably and would gladly stay again. It is also within walking distance of two restaurants and a convenience store. The house faces Paw Paw Lake Road but the noise was pretty minimal especially at night. The owner, David, was very responsive to our inquiry for renting his house. He was quick to reply and it was a pleasure working with him. The only negative item to be aware if you aren't used to the area, is the Michigan plumbing. Well water in the area can smell a bit "sulfur-y". This was only an issue at the beginning of our stay and only the super-sensitive nose of our teen noticed it after day 2. The plumbing for the toilets is also a bit "tempermental" and you should be prepared to have a clear and complete discussion (as out lined in the house) with any young children or teens. We did not have a plumbing problem, but I could see that happening very easily. In short, it was all we could ask for."

  • Best Family Vacation - Ever!! Amazing accommodations and setting!

"We brought our family, kids and grands- 15 of us! Rented both houses- super convenient and great accommodations. The lake was beautiful, we rented a pontoon, went tubing and skiing- a very friendly place and not overrun with boats. We had campfires at night, guys golfed and there's an Ice cream shop out the back door!! Highly recommend the location and the houses are well kept, the one was newly remodeled- very nice! Plenty of rroom and lots to do! And we brought the dogs too!"
