  • Unbeatable View, Sunset, and Boating time!

"My family just had a wonderful week's vacation at this property. The four bedrooms were the ideal size for my family of 3, my sister's family of 3, and our father. The twin beds were great for the kids to share nights in the same room. Without question the best part of our trip was spending time outside! The view from the home is fantastic, especially for sunsets. We loved utilizing the fire pit, swing set, and made at least one trip on the pontoon boat every day. Crooked Lake is so relaxed and safe. Our little ones couldn't get enough of boating and jumping to swim or just jumping off of the dock right by the house. One day we took a trip to Moo-ville Creamery about 30 minute away where the kids had a blast at the petting zoo, playground, and sandbox, along with amazing ice cream at an unbeatable price! Mary and Azim were so attentive and made sure we were having a fantastic time and never needed anything. We're so thankful for their gracious hosting and have unforgettable memories of a great summer week on the lake!"

  • Wonderful peaceful time at a great cottage

"We live in Florida and rented this cottage for three weeks to spend time with our family and grandson. The cottage was extremely clean and well maintained. That is so important especially when you have a little one with you. Rob, Cheryl and Robby their son were the bests hosts ever. They really care that everything is ok and you are having a good time. They were very responsive to any requests like firewood etc that we had. Their customer service was outstanding. They also installed wifi internet and added cable. The Internet was critical for our adult children to be able to work from the cottage, and we so appreciate them adding that service. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer and dryer were wonderful to have. Everything worked very well. The description is accurate and the cottage is very spacious. It appears from their guest book they have many repeat renters who come year after year and love it! The cottage is quiet and the neighbors are very nice. We enjoyed fires at the fire pit and did rent the pontoon. The motor is dependable and it was so nice to be on the water. Think the pontoon rental is a must. The sand bottom when you step into the water is firm. It is a little deep at the sea wall but the sand bottom is important. We had a blast and enjoyed hanging out at the lake. It was wonderful. We did find the meat market in Richland which was awesome. It's a must to stop there. The Gilmore Car museum is amazing. We have already and will continue to recommend this cottage to our friends. We thank Rob, Cheryl and Robby for providing such a wonderful cottage for our family to spend time together."

  • Great Time had by all on Brandwine Lake.

"What a great week my family had while staying at Brandywine Lake. Weather was excellent, swam till we turned into prunes, floated on rafts, rowed across and around the lake in a row boat, built sand castles all while on the property and all essentials were provided by the owner. Anything extra needed was just down the road in Gobles. And South Haven, Saugatuck, St. Joseph beaches were less than an hour away from this perfectly located property. Inside was quaint and extremely clean. First time supplies again were provided by owner and all cooking and eating utensils were included. Bring your swimming suit, lotion, beach towel, and a cooler of ....and you are ready to have a wonderful time."

  • Family Vacation

"This is our 3rd time renting these cottages. There have been several updates done since the first time: new sheets, blankets, pot & pans, silverware (enough for everyone), new docks and new appliances in the lower cottage. Had a wonderful week, rented both cottages for our extended families. Swimming was great, the lake was warm. Did several kayak and canoes trips thru the different lakes. The older kids especially enjoyed the fishing, caught enough that we had fish for dinner one night. Had a campfire several nites even though the weather was quite warm. Had one rainy day but there was easily enough room at the main house table for several rounds of cards which kids and adults enjoyed. Fred and Sue were very accommodating and the rental process was easy."
