  • Cory lake rental

"This rental was absolutely wonderful. In fact we loved it so much we extended our stay for four more weeks this summer. The lake is just beautiful! The sand bar is so great for everyone. There are two camps on the lake so it's not filled up with all houses. Great marina and convenient store right there. I met the owner today and she was lovely! We also had family and friends up and they loved it! Well maintained and just so relaxing and fun !"

  • Saddlebag Lake Paradise

"The owner of this property was fantastic to deal with. The home was beautiful and had absolutely everything you need to spend the week with family. It was the best place we ever stayed and everyone in the family wants to go back next year. If it was possible to rate above 5 we absolutely would."

  • Great Place To Spend A Week

"My family spent the week here during the week of May 19-26. We had a great time! The days started with watching the sun rise over the lake. This was followed by either a kayak or pontoon ride taking off from the dock just feet away from the back door. Although we didn't fish, many people were catching bluegill, bass, and perch. The cottage is 15 minutes from Shipswanna where you can enjoy visiting many Amish stores. The streets are shared by both automobile and Amish buggies. There is also a VERY large flea market which opens Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There are many activities around the cottage as well including an Amish "Safari" where you can pet and feed both farm animals and exotic animals. It was fun for the entire family. The days usually ended with a fire in the awesome fire pit overlooking the lake.We plan on returning several times this Summer."

  • Wonderful property!

"I visited this property with a group of friends for a relaxing weekend fishing trip. We all needed a getaway to recharge our batteries and spend some rare time together, as our careers and families are all growing by the day and free time is shrinking. This property was perfect and exactly what we were looking for! The house was extremely clean and very accessible. Erin, the owner, was very prompt and helpful in her responses to any question I had leading up to the trip. We had a great time using the provided Bicycles, Kayaks and fire pit. If you are traveling with kids, there is a swing set in the large backyard with plenty of room for them to run around. Fishing was good right from the yard and pier as well as out on the boat on the lake. We spent a lot of time on the elevated deck cooking out and enjoying the view of the peaceful inlet that connects to the (surprisingly) sizable Diamond Lake. It felt like we were thousands of miles from the commotion of the Chicagoland area but it was only about a two hour drive for us. The neighbors that we met were very nice and helpful. The inside of the house was well updated and the furniture looked pretty new in most cases. They had a flat screen TV that we were able to hook into to watch the Cubs playoff games, which was a nice plus for us. The pictures do not really do the place justice in terms of size. We never felt cramped and had room to spread out and do our own things when we wanted to. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice getaway from the the everyday grind."
