  • Great House

"We came to Coloma for a 80 Birthday Party for my uncle. The Cottage worked out great for our family, and we were within 3 miles of the party. The Cottage had everything anyone would need. And the some of the family enjoyed the corn hole one night. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us. Hope we can use it again when we come back to Michigan. Pat, Linda and family."

  • Success!

"The home was great & fit our needs perfectly... clean & very accommodating for our 29th girls' weekend! The kitchen was filled with amenities (including plenty of wine glasses:), and the back patio is great for morning coffee. The neighborhood is quiet and, although we were disappointed with no beach this year, the lookout over Lake Michigan was wonderful for sunsets and extended evening chats. We enjoyed the proximity to South Haven and the large, beautiful beach in town. So much to do & see in the area. We would definitely return."

  • Great cottage, great view!

"This cottage is absolutely adorable; it's very well decorated. I loved that it was on North Beach away from the crowds but it was only a 15 minute walk (5 minute drive) to downtown. There were also 2 public beaches very close by although the beach is right outside the back door! I loved how the cottages were set up in a row, when you walk down the steps to get to this specific cottage you get a great view of Lake Michigan set behind the cottages. The 2 bedrooms were great, the one with the bunk beds is a little bigger but the "master bedroom" was a perfect size just for me and for a vacation rental. I had a friend and her family over for drinks(4+baby, me) and it was tight but very doable. Kitchen was adequate and bathroom was small but fine for just me. The fireplace worked great, there were window AC units (never used them, it was 70F or lower), and ceiling fans. I had a problem with the door lock when I accidentally did something to it to cause it to alarm but I called Ann and she was immediately available. I would highly recommend it for the view, accommodations, and price!"

  • Cozy Cottage in a Charming and Beautiful area

"We had a wonderful weekend stay at this cozy cottage! Our first trip to the area and I highly recommend it... the local small towns were picturesque with great restaurants and cute, upscale shops. Just a short jaunt to Grand Rapids, too, where we really enjoyed the museum and the Grand Rapids Market. (Unfortunately, the presidential museum has just recently closed for a year-long renovation project.) Although we didn't have the opportunity to meet the host, Carol, she was very gracious despite many issues that were of our own making. Noteworthy: -The kitchen was particularly exceptionally well-appointed and the cottage was very tidy. -The cottage is situated in a residential area that feels very safe. -There are many board and card games available... great for families like ours! -As you enter the floor is at a substantial slant, which caused problems for one family member with a stability/strength issue. -The bathroom is only accessible through a bedroom."
