  • Beautiful home with a great location!

"My girlfriends and I had a weekend getaway and stayed at Jon and Cathy's property. The house was very clean upon arrival. We were able to walk to Jimmy John's and Culvers for lunch, Biggby for coffee, and Sweet Temptations for dessert. Grand Haven State Park was just a few minutes away by car. Downtown was walking distance (but we drove due to our choices in shoes ;) ) The home was stocked with what we needed. We spent a lot of time outside on the back deck! The shed has things that may be needed at the beach - toys and chairs. There are also bikes to use in town! We were very happy with our stay at this property!"

  • Great Stay as Always

"This is our third time renting this vacation home in New Buffalo, Michigan. As always, Linda and Al were great to work with. The house was clean and well equipped with anything you would need (etc. toys for the kids, many towels, kitchen utensil for cooking, spices, lawn chairs for the beach). They provide a free parking pass to the NB beach which waves the $10 parking fee. This is a great amenity. This is an amazing value for the area and we are so grateful that they have kept their prices reasonable for famlies vacationing on a budget. The house is in a central location, less than a mile from the beach and new Buffalo's downtown area . There is a small (free) splash pad for children 5 and under just up the street. The house is locate between St. Joe's Silver Beach (25 min. North) and Michigan City (20 min. South) which has a zoo, splash pad and outlet mall. There are many wineries close by as well. We took the South Shore Line train to downtown Chicago and the whole trip was about an hour and a half. 30 minutes to the train station and an hour to get into downtown Chicago. The neighborhood is quaint and nice, I did my daily run and felt very comfortable in the area. Thank you Linda and Al for this wonderful opportunity!! Our four-year-old keeps telling us he misses the Michigan home. We hope to return again soon."

  • Perfect lake house for all.

"This large, roomy home has been well cared for and obviously loved. It's like stepping back in time, yet it has all the modern conveniences, from a digital HVAC system to excellent wi-fi. It's well furnished and comfortable, with lots of room to entertain. Everything you might need is provided, too. We are an older couple with small Papillon dogs, and we loved the home. It would be equally great for families and girls' trips, and couples traveling together. There's one bedroom and bathroom downstairs and two bedrooms and a bath upstairs. The beds are comfortable, and There are plenty of linens. The grounds are lovely, too. There's a grand stone fire pit, and a deck/porch off the kitchen in the back with a barbeque grill for cooking on a nice night. We look forward to returning to this "home away from home," and we highly recommend it!"

  • PERFECT CONDO to rent!! CLEAN, CLOSE TO TOWN, GORGEOUS!

"I can't say enough good things about this condo! The pics don't do it justice. It is SOOO clean, so nice with hardwood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, etc. Very "cozy" too. A nice fireplace and balcony. The bedding and towels are so nice too - a biggie for me when renting. Our kids LOVED the indoor pool - that sealed the deal for me when comparing condos. You could easily walk to town and the beach (though we drove with our little ones). I've done the comparing and shopping around for you, trust me! STAY HERE :-)"
