  • Comfortable stay

"We stayed here for a family ski trip. We stayed in the main/upper level with a large group. The stay was great! The bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable. The house was updated and kitchen was really nice. There was plenty of seating with an island and table. The house was clean and well maintained. The owner was great to deal with as well as the caretaker. We called her to ask for some dishwasher soap and she brought it right away that night. The only thing that kept me awake was the bedroom doors were squeaky and the downstairs renters had 3 dogs. Other than that, I could not hear my family snoring in the other room. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."

  • Perfect for families and friends

"The Ramsay House is beyond our expectations. Tracy is very nice to answer every questions and send us reminder . The house is clean and well organized. I wound highly recommend this for your stay with up to 13 people either several families or with friends. Use 10516 Belmont Ave Ramsay, MI for your GPS destination. It's close to the Porcupine Mountains, which was one of our destinations for fall color. It's really a very good memory to stay here!"

  • MLK Weekend at Wildernest

"We took a long weekend trip to ski at Indianhead MLK weekend 2017. It was our first time to the resort. We went with our family of five and two other couples for a total of 13. We always rent privately when we travel, and spent quite a bit of time researching different locations to fit our needs. First, working with Jennifer was wonderful. She was super responsive and accommodating, making sure the place was heated when we got there, and we had everything we needed. Customer service like that is so important so I wanted to mention it first. We all agreed that Wilderness was awesome and we would definitely come back again. The layout is so conducive to families and being social. We rented both the upper and lower unit and all of us spent much of the time in the upper unit without feeling cramped, although having the lower unit gave us the luxury of bedroom space and moments of "go downstairs and play that game". The property is gorgeous, and we loved the toboggan run. One of my favorite moments of the trip was when we adults took flashlights out and did night toboggan runs under the stars with the kids, it was super fun. Rooms were ample large with dressers and closets. They had lots of firewood available to us for the wood burning fireplaces, which we appreciated every night after skiing. Kitchen was fully stocked. There was nothing we needed that we couldn't find (although we did bring our own crock pots, I didn't look for that). Thank you for accommodating our families! We hope be back!"

  • Great Cabin

"Great cabin for northern WI getaway. We had six people, 2 adults and 4 kids. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for us. There was plenty of space for everybody to plus it would be even better during the summer. Having two bathrooms and the washer and dryer were a great convenience. Bob and Marge were great hosts and keep the place clean and maintained. My only suggestion is the drive off of Hwy 51 to the cabin is treacherous. If you are not comfortable with driving on gravel snow covered roads then this is not for you. We hopefully will be back this summer."
