  • Little slice of paradise!!!

"There is not much I can add to these reviews that hasn't already been said! This is a fantastic place!!! Just book it! The house really does have everything! I wasn't sure what to expect for kitchen items so I came prepared with Tupperware containers, ziploc bags and spices I wanted to use for specific recipes. Bottled water isn't a must, but there is an iron taste to the water for the first day or two, so if you don't think you will be able to get past that go ahead and bring it. Oh, and bring chip clips!! We were thrilled to be able to bring our 12 year old German Shorthaired Pointer along on our trip. It was his first time on a beach and had a great time exploring! Being the end of October he, and we, definitely were not doing any swimming! But this would be absolutely amazing in the summer!!! Despite the typical late Fall weather (constant cloud cover and intermittent periods of misting) we found plenty to do. The drive along the western side of the peninsula is spectacular! Tons of roadside parks, places to hike, and waterfalls! Mountain bike enthusiasts will love Copper Harbor, and Brockway Mountain Drive from Copper Harbor to the West is jaw dropping! Absolutely worth a drive to Copper Harbor for anyone. Definitely come prepared to have typical town amenities out of your close reach. And if you come in the "off-season" be prepared for many restaurants to be closed. We are used to this so we did plenty of research prior to the trip on what would be open and were just overall flexible with what we were "planning to do" (not much!). Calumet is pretty bustling and not too far from the house and has grocery stores, gas stations, etc. Todd was easily reachable and quick to respond to all of our questions. Thank you for sharing your property with us!"

  • Perfect spot for a snowmobile trip!

"The place is beautifully remodeled on the inside. We had 9 adult men snowmobiling there and with one blow up mattress we all slept comfortably. Owners are on site but across the small lake, not right on top of you. Only talked to them the minute we arrived and the rest of the trip we were on our own! Very clean and has all the cookware, silverware, etc that you could possibly need, along with iced mugs in the freezer for beer! Or soda... The location is just a five minute ride to the snowmobile trail. Where you hop onto the trail it is only another five minutes to South Range for gas/food/drinks. It's perfect! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

  • A hidden jewel!

"What a terrific property! Our group of 4 men were seeking a place on the peninsula that was convenient for snowmobiling. At first glance, I didn't think much of the property, but after reviewing the online photos and other user reviews, we booked it. The price was more than fair and upon arrival, we were thrilled with how clean and accommodating the upper level unit was. Attention to every detail was made to ensure the comforts of home were offered. The high speed internet, smart TV, full kitchen, and the bedrooms were terrific. We enjoyed using the kitchen as our base camp for meals and the living area with the comfortable seating and large smart TV were perfect. The 1 king and 2 queen beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The updates to the space made this old structure feel modern as well. We'll be back! THANK YOU!"

  • Very nice property!

"This is a very nice property. CLEAN! Lots of room inside and outside. The yard feels very private. Having the linens provided was a treat. Wonderful view of the portage from the living room or the spacious front deck. Notable Wildlife viewings: a Bald Eagle family and Great Blue Herons visited the dock area. We would definitely rent this location again. Thanks to Nicole for being so responsive!"
