  • We loved it for the second year in a row!!

"Once again we had an amazing, relaxing, spacious week at the Top of the Rock. The view is incredible! So much so that we took a time lapse video from the top balcony of sunset and the sunrise, even caught two deer having breakfast in the field in front of the cabin. If you wake up right about sunrise you almost every morning will catch a few dear close to the cabin. One morning we saw an enormous buck, antlers still in velvet. In addition, we used the kayaks, rode bikes (we do recommend a seat pad as those roads are hard on the backside.) Hiked our hearts out and visited all the points of interest on the map. If you have a chance the hike to the lighthouse is worth it. The cabin was perfect and the check in/check out process easy. We appreciate the opportunity and hope to be back again next year! ~ the Esteve's"

  • Clean & Easy

"This is the 3rd time we have stayed. The house is always clean and the owner is easy to work with. This was our first visit where the weather and our schedule allowed us to sit outside at the backyard conversation area which we enjoyed. The location is excellent. We walked to the lake shore every morning and out to dinner one time. You can see from the pictures that everything is beautiful inside. Highly recommend as a great value alternative to a hotel for families.."

  • Memorial Day Weekend 2016

"My daughter booked the Eagle's Nest for us to meet up - we each live about 3 hours away, and we loved this lakefront gem! The house has windows facing the lake for a wonderful view! The house layout was great for the 7 of us with plenty of beds and 2 full bathrooms! The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils. We even got to use the gas grill to cook our burgers! The lake is shallow for a good ways for the kids to play in the water, but deep enough farther out for boating and fishing. It was very peaceful and the owner kindly met us on arrival and offered his services should we need anything. There are plenty of attractions near enough: Taquamanon Falls, Sault Ste. Marie, Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, St. Ignace."

  • Perfect for our adventure

"This house was perfect! Excellent location close to town, had everything we needed for our stay. House was clean and cozy for our group. Check out the falls nearby, the log slide and do the pictured rocks boat tour if the weather cooperates. The fall colors were phenomenal! We hope to return!"
