  • Perfect spot for a snowmobile trip!

"The place is beautifully remodeled on the inside. We had 9 adult men snowmobiling there and with one blow up mattress we all slept comfortably. Owners are on site but across the small lake, not right on top of you. Only talked to them the minute we arrived and the rest of the trip we were on our own! Very clean and has all the cookware, silverware, etc that you could possibly need, along with iced mugs in the freezer for beer! Or soda... The location is just a five minute ride to the snowmobile trail. Where you hop onto the trail it is only another five minutes to South Range for gas/food/drinks. It's perfect! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

  • Nice place .. plenty of room

"Very nice home. Plenty of room to park trailers or cars. Everything we wanted except there wasn't any satellite. We made do using our iPhone and connected to the tv via HDMI cable. Was completely surprised to have workers show up the morning of our departure. They were remodeling the basement and began work at 7 am Would recommend to friends as this is a very nice place"

  • Lovely character. Cozy and fully stocked.

"We enjoyed our stay at the Cordwood Cabin. As a family of 4 we had plenty of space. The kids loved having the loft space to themselves and we enjoyed our first floor bedroom. Everything you need to enjoy a quiet week is provided. We used the coffee pot, stovetop, cookware, Weber Grill and utensils and saved some money enjoying breakfast and lunch in many of our days. The Keweenaw waterway was cool and clean and we rented a small boat to try our luck at fishing. We used the cabin as our home base and explored the rest of the Keweenaw all of the way up to Copper Harbor. Bruce and Jaclyn were lovely hosts----available if needed but not hovering. We were thankful for Bruce's firelighting skills and we enjoyed swimming and sitting round the fire pit. The nearby Hungarian Falls and the Quincy Mine were two of our favorite visits. We also loved the jam pot near Eagle Harbor and exploring the area. This cabin will have a magnificent view of the fall colors. Hope we can come back again. Thanks for sharing your special cabin with us."
