"The North Lodge is the most peaceful, comfortable and pleasant place in the UP. We stay here every year while we are fishing on the Big Manistique. The lodge is always clean and well prepared when we arrive. It has everything we need to be comfortable. The owners have always gone out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They treat us like royalty. We don't eat out much, but there are several nice restaurants in the area. The lodge is centrally located providing easy access to the sights of the UP. We don't do much sight seeing. We come to fish, fish and fish! I can't imagine anything that could have improved our stay. We highly recommend the North Lodge!"

  • Great place to go.

"Great cabin, well located and well stocked. It can sleep 14 people if there are only a few adults; the beds at doubles and two adults per is a tight fit. Overall we had a blast and would rent again."

  • Great cottage, great location

"Susan is amazing to deal with. Deposit was returned within 24 hours. Very clean and well appointed cottage. Has everything you could need. Plenty of space and in great condition. Short walk over the dunes to Lake Superior and across the street from the bay. 1/2 mile walk to a very quaint and friendly downtown. Everything you need for an amazing and relaxing family vacation. Thank you Susan for an experience we will always remember. We are already looking to book the cabin for our family vacation next year! This is our new family vacation tradition."

  • Perfect for our needs

"We had a great stay at Campbell Cottage! We were in town for the kayak symposium and the location was perfect--right across the road from all of our activities, and short walk to the market too. The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Washer and dryer came in very handy, as did the clothesline out back for our wet gear. There was a gas grill in the shed that we cooked dinner on one night. The shower pressure was really good (appreciated when needed to warm up after practicing rescues in the lake). Beds were comfy. Games and dvd's also were nice for our teenager who came along. I would definitely chose this property again!"
